We used the property after traveling for day viewing the covered bridges. Cooked dinner at the property and relaxed on back deck facing lake.

The location was great, peaceful and quiet. You are in a little neighborhood, however, the neighbors stay to themselves. Feel like it could’ve been cleaner. There were a few missed items from the previous renters.

Host was very accommodating and prompt in communications. Property very clean. Our first entry was in the dark and lack of lighting made it difficult to see the driveway and entry path. Lovely decor! Comfy bed. Wasn’t expecting the lake to be all dried up. Only critique on the layout would be the stairway railing would not be ideal for an older couple or people with mobility challenges or for those with toddlers. It seems the rail at top could extend a bit further. We had a great time! beyond the landing or be higher.

Enjoyed our stay, but had a few issues. Cabin was clean, but there was mouse poop in and on the dishes, so we needed to wash them prior to using them. Our lake view was not great since the lake had been drained for the season. We were notified after booking that the bunk beds could not support more than 140 lbs, leading one of our party to sleep on the sofa. The beds were very uncomfortable, especially the double bed, which had a mattress with a large collapsed area, causing a really sore back. Most of these issues were minor, but took away from the enjoyment of our girls' weekend.

Our first girls trip with our dogs during fall season. The trees around property are so colorful with the lake view. Big back yard and stair down to lake. Perfect spot for cocktails or coffee at the dock. Nice fire-pit area with woods provided, we had silly time here. Only half an hour from Turkey Run SP and Shades SP. Host responded very quickly and flexible with our stay. We have 3 dogs and they let us stay but we are really responsible dog 's moms! We don 't leave trash behind and we don 't trash anybody home. Will go back again in the future :)) Thank you!

Cabin was nice. We had wifi which was very nice and we used the Roku TV. Kitchen had pots pans and plenty to cook with. No dishwasher, but that’s okay! Bathroom is on the first floor with bedrooms upstairs, so a little less convenient for bathroom use in the middle of the night and showering/ dressing in your bedroom, but overall everything was nicely updated and decorated. Stairs were steep. Cabin was close to turkey run and Rockville shops. The lake entrance is a little hard to get to, down lots of steps, not great to swim at that spot. The cabin is not as secluded as you would think from the photos - the neighbors are very close by and there are no curtains in almost any of the windows (master bedroom is the only one with curtains). Not a whole lot of privacy. We were still able to have a campfire and enjoy the outdoors.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. The house was perfect. Super clean, relaxing, and everything we needed. The host was very helpful. We will definitely be back again.
