About this house rental

Welcome to your home away from home. The Martin house is a perfect getaway for small town festivities. The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The downstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed, the upstairs bedrooms have a king and 2 twin beds. The sofa also pulls out to make a full bed. The kitchen has all of the essentials including a double wall oven, gas stove, and microwave. There is a weber gas grill on the back patio. The garage has a pool table, tv, and comfy seating. With 4 acres of land and a fire pit you will have plenty of space to spend time outdoors. The home includes a dining room with a table to fit the whole family as well as a screened in porch. There are bicycles that you are welcome to use to ride around town. The home is newly renovated in neutral colors and most furniture and beds are new.

This home was all the listing said and more. Our host was very communicative and super helpful. There wasn’t anything we wished we’d not forgotten to bring. If we needed it, it was there. I’d stay here again without question.

Our family enjoyed staying in this house for our annual family vacation. Everyone had enough space and we loved the screened in porch and yard. It is in a quiet location but still close enough to walk to town. We cannot wait to be back next year!

We appreciated the thoughtfulness shown towards house guests. Our group consisted of my husband and I, our two children and their spouses, along with two grandsons.The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were well supplied with great towels and toiletries. Everyone said their beds were comfortable.The pool table was a big hit for everyone. After hiking at Turkey Run, it was great to come home to a cool retreat. Lovely setting with the large yard, screened in porch, birdfeeders with visitors.

This was a great house for a girl's weekend trip. The house was very clean and well maintained, the binder of collected information of places and things to do in the area was very useful. Although we didn't have time to utilize the pool table in the garage, it was a very nice entertainment area. The only thing that would of made it better was floor length mirrors in the bedrooms or bathrooms, with 6 females this was something that would of been nice to have. We would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

We needed a place to gather our kids and grandkids for Christmas. This was the a great solution for us!What a wonderful home!This has a large yard to run in and a long driveway for the kids to ride bikes and play basketball. We enjoyed the large dining room where we all sat for several big dinners. And after the young ones went to bed we gathered around the game room to play pool and board games. Highly recommended place to stay with friends or family.

This is an older property with a few quirks, charming and very clean. Beds were quite comfortable. Situated on a highway but the lot itself is wooded. Late October can bring a variety of weather, so we were happy with the spacious living and dining areas plus choices of outdoor spaces -- my favorite was the covered, screened-in porch. We found the location convenient to amenities (including the Visitor Center) and it was a lovely drive to Turkey Run.

We felt this was a great location to stay close to turkey run and shades state parks. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were great to accommodate our family. The grandkids loved the large back yard and the screened in porch was my favorite to sit on in the early morning and listen to the horse and buggies clomp on by. The large couch in the family room was perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The whole family loved it and we would definitely stay there again. The host was very accommodating and quickly responded to questions.

The game room with a heaters, the front porch with a heater, the outdoor areas with string lights, the bikes, basketball hoop, and the list goes on! Definitely enjoyable for all ages. We absolutely loved this home. Anything and everything you would ever need. Loved that it smelled clean and was clean! The bed and the linens were the best in any VRBO that I’ve been in. A very thoughtful informative booklet was available to help with eateries and etc… Would love to come back when it’s a bit warmer. Loved all the activities that were available for the guests.

Our family Christmas was blessed to use this home; decorated including a tree was perfect. We've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this kitchen was very well equipped with pots/pans/utensils/applicances/basic spices/place settings for a family of 7. Pool table was fun and owner was very responsible in planning our stay.
