We genuinely enjoyed our stay away from home with family. Our only surprising thing we encountered was two master suites, should know there is not a hall bath. We definitely adjusted, only was not aware of. Would visit again!

This is a well cared for property. There are places to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet.The inside is inviting and relaxing.If you venture away from the property there are two state parks close by Turkey Run and Shades.In Crawfordsville there is the Rotary Jail museum and Terra Haute has the Candles Holocaust museum.

This cabin is so wonderful with an incredible amount of character both inside and out. The host has all of your needs covered, even including water shoes to wade in the stream. Such a gorgeous location. The house was immaculate, and the hot tub water was crystal clear. We highly recommend this one! Host was super responsive when the internet went out. (Spectrum issue not the hosts) The only problem was that we didn't get to stay longer. Lol.

This cabin was perfect for our group of 4. We were visiting the area to go hiking at Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Spent the morning and early afternoons at the parks and then back to the cabin to cook a meal and enjoy the great outdoor deck area. The cornhole boards and hot tub were enjoyed.

Melissa was an excellent host. Check in and check out were very simple. I was so happy to see the coffee pods ready for me and the boys loved the access to the creek to go exploring. The bird songs were amazing as was the butterfly garden. Location was great for trips to Turkey Run and vintage shopping in Rockville. It was a great retreat to the country before the hustle and bustle of school.

This cabin is beautiful. The hosts communicated very well throughout the process. They made everything seamless and easy. One evening we were able to see young eagles fly over the cabin. There was plenty of room to relax and play family games. The cabin is fully equipped with just about anything you can think of. I would definitely stay here again if we are visiting the area.

Cabin was as nice as the photos indicated. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed time reconnecting with family in a lovely setting. Hosts were great. It was a wonderful base for our activities in the area. The AC was a bonus as the weather was warm & humid. Hot tub eased aching muscles after hiking. Made trip to hike at Turkey Run & Shades. Sugar River was at 14 feet (usually 3 feet). Trails closed at TR first day, so we went to Shades. Enjoyed those trails that were open. Next day TR was open so one group enjoyed hiking there while another went off to see a few covered bridges & Billie Creek village. Third day we again hiked the parks, but afternoon thunderstorm curtailed outdoor activities. We enjoyed working on an escape puzzle we brought at the cabin that afternoon. Our final day was spent in Crawfordsville visiting museums. The docent at the Rotary Jail museum was wonderful! You could tell she enjoyed engaging with the visitors and provided an insightful tour. We also toured the Lane Place Antebellum Museum. Again, we were blowed away by the tour provided by the docent there. He was passionate about history and its relevance to our world today. We would highly recommend both the lovely cabin and the area.

We have been admiring this property for years and are thankful to have been able to stay here over the long weekend. It has everything one could ask for in a rental. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained! Beds are comfy. Hot tub is ideal. Decorations are adorable. Owners are responsive in communication. My husband, son and I stayed for a few nights. The cabin is great—impeccably clean, comfortable beds, plenty of room and a great location for us. We were there primarily to unplug and the quiet remote location was perfect. The owner stopped by to great us and ask if we needed anything. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the creek. We were told by several people that hiking was great at either of the nearby state parks, but due one of us having a knee injury, we will save that for next time. We plan to schedule another visit perhaps in the fall. We highly recommend it!

This is nice little rental property within 10-15 minutes of two great state parks with lots of hiking opportunities. The cabin is on the same creek, between the parks. It is nicely decorated and clean, with lots of games and books. Compared to other rentals in this price range, there were a few things that could be improved: a good bag of coffee would be nice (only the cheap stuff was provided); the kitchen had what we needed but not quite as well appointed as others; the place could use a bit of maintenance (many of the light bulbs were mismatched or incompatible with dimmers and many of the plumbing fixtures were loose or otherwise finicky including a backwards-installed shower valve). An update of some of these things would probably go a long way to justify the higher price point.

This place is quite beautiful. Gardens and landscape well done. Great deck with very nice hot tub. It is located out in the country. Sugar creek is close, many steps to get to it. The house is small but homey… We enjoyed going to Shades and Turkey Run, house is pretty close to both.
