About this house rental
Escape to tranquility at our Smith Mountain Lake retreat, nestled in a quiet cove off the main channel. Perfect for water enthusiasts, our property features two docks for boat tie-up or swimming, along with kayaks, a canoe, water toys, and life jackets in various sizes. Relax in the hot tub, whip up meals in the spacious open kitchen, or fire up the gas grill. Pack less and enjoy more—our home comes fully stocked with essentials to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible.
Booking notes:
During peak season (May 24 - Sept 26, 2025) rentals are Saturday-Saturday.
Easy check in: I'll send you the door code ahead of your stay, and that's all
Easy check out: I just ask that you start the dishwasher, and take your trash out when you go.
Amenity highlights:
-large 7 person hot tub available year round
-two docks available for tying up your boat/watercraft, also has a ladder for getting in and out of the water. Water depth at the end of the dock is about 15'.
-kayaks, a canoe, various sized life jackets, and a variety of water toys are provided. The pontoon boat in some of the pictures is not included.
-The grill and firepit are both gas, and run on the same propane tanks, which are provided.
The property comes stocked with many of the bulkier items, and consumables, so you don't have to pack them! There should be enough stocked for normal use:
-linens: the beds will already be made up for you
-towels: bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath mats, beach towels, makeup towels
-paper goods: toilet paper, and paper towels
-trash bags
-dishwasher pods, and laundry pods
-coffee filters, coffee, and sugar
-soaps: hand soap, and lotion is at each sink. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner is at each shower.

Perfectly clean and furnished! Host was wonderfully responsive and kind! Location is excellent! No crazy boat traffic and noise! Beautiful swimming area! Caught catfish, bass and sunnies! Granddaughters ages 4 and 5 had a blast! Can’t recommend highly enough!

My wife has wanted to spend a week by a lake for several years and we finally did it!
The house was warm and inviting - clean, and well stocked.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the use of the kayaks

This was my family’s first lake vacation and none of have ever stayed on Smith Mountain Lake and it didn’t disappoint. Growing up spending my summers on Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks this was like being a kid again. Don’t forget to enjoy the sunrise on the dock with a cup of coffee every morning while you are there.
Lots of lake toys to enjoy and the fish were quite active amd junoing while we were there.
