Private, secluded location in a quiet wooded neighborhood with great water views. Unlike many rentals, this home's outdoor areas are far enough from neighbors that it feels as if there are no neighbors. The dock & water are only a few easy steps from the house. The 2 covered porches are deep & provide excellent shade from the sun & rain so you can be outside at all times. This location is on the main channel at the north end of the lake which is much less busy (even over July 4th weekend) than other areas of main channel but has enough activity for those who like to watch the boats, wakeboarders, & skiiers. The dock sits back just enough from the main channel to be perfect for swimming & floating. Tons of wildlife to entertain you, there was a fawn napping in the yard & the deer come through several times a day. We saw herons close up several times. The home is definitely "vintage" so may not be for those who prefer a brand new modern rental, however the owner provides a very accurate description & photos in the listing so anyone booking knows the style of the home. Although dated, the home was immaculately clean & had plenty of space inside as well. April was a great host!
