CASA FLORIT - Mediterranean Pirate Suites

The property looked like it did in the pictures, the bus station is a 1 minute away walk to go both to the city center and the beach. It’s also very close to the Oceanographic (11 min. walk/ you can take the bus) and the area around is nice. If you are a smoker, in front of the accommodation there is a park where you can sit down on the benches to smoke and it’s quite nice.

The downstairs area has no shelving so it was uncomfortable for the 2 people on the ground floor. The door only opens through the app on your phone, you don’t get the key. We got locked out of the stay at 1 AM because the batteries of the door mechanism ran out and no one answered the phone even on the emergency number. There is a box with the key next to the door (for the cleaning staff only, so we did not receive that code) and we were luckily able to guess that code and get in after about an hour of standing outside. Even though I texted the owner and left voice messages, in the morning they only said that they received an error in the app that the batteries were low and sent someone to change them. They didn’t even mention the fact that we were locked out nor did they apologise in any way. The accommodation itself is great, but the thing with the door and the owner not even acknowledging that we were locked out left a sower taste behind.

Per andare a letto bisogna salire una scala (comunque comoda), il pavimento di sopra cigola molto e lo spazio per girare attorno al letto è poco. Ho chiesto un asciugamano piccolo in più il primo giorno ma non è mai arrivato. Giudizio comunque positivo. Tornerei
