Stylish and Cosy 3 Bedroom Appartment

We were 2 couple and 1 single. It was nice to have a kitchen and small living room. It was nice that we could eat together and heat up food. The location was good. About a 15 minute walk with luggage from the Hammersmith tube station (with lifts for those with luggage) and 10 minute walk to Ravenscourt tube station (if you don't have luggage). One street over from a main street with a M&S grocery store and Iceland grocery store. The price was right for what we got. We were only ~ 5 minute walk to the Thames River and Furnivall Gardens. We were pleasantly surprised when we took a walk and found so many people out along the river with their blankets, drinks and snacks enjoying the evening. Also, some restaurants along the river.

The bedrooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms are very small. 1 bedroom with twin beds was large, 2nd bedroom with queen bed was ok size, 3rd bedroom with a single bed was not much bigger than a closet. Too many extra bedding items on the beds. I put these items in the closet. Pillow on one of the beds had a decorative pillow cover on it so had to search for a regular pillow case. Bedroom windows are street level, next to a walk way, with very thin curtains. Street light shone in on my face at night so rigged something up to block it. Bathroom mat shouldn't be there - with the bathrooms so small it means walking on the mat going from the toilet to the sink. I put it away and designated a towel as a bathmat to be hung on the shower afterwards. Shouldn't have mats beside the bed - I moved those as well. How clean are they? 2 rooms had fans but didn't help much. We were late arriving and the owner had to leave before we arrived and said key was under the mat but gave absolutely no other instructions for wifi, building entry, how to use appliances and garbage/recycling. I had to contact her to find out where the password was for the wifi. We went out in the evening and came back to find out that we couldn't get into the building. A nice lady in the building came to our rescue to tell us that our key had a key fob on it that we needed to pass in front of a detector on the building wall in order to unlock the building door. The owner did respond to my messages, sometimes delayed. There should be written instructions. Also, we spent ~ 10 minutes looking for the apartment which was in a courtyard. It would help to have instructions for finding the place.

The flat was clean, spacious and didn't get overly hot even in the May heatwave. Lirie was really welcoming and asked a few times during our visit whether we needed anything (eg. more fans since it was +30C outside...). Beds felt a bit firm at first but we slept really well in them! Dishwasher and washing machine are always a welcome plus. Location is great: under 10 minute walk to Hammersmith or Ravenscourt Park tube stations, great shops and nice restaurants a few minutes away. It was the perfect size for 4 adults (one couple + 2 adult kids) with the 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Could defo see us staying here again!

Really nitpicking here, but the sound insulation in the windows could be better. The street is pretty quiet but when people passed talking, it sounded like the window was open (at least in the master bedroom). Apart from this it was quiet and peaceful.

Ruhige Lage, Entfernung zur Tube nicht weit und alles Highlights von London gut erreichbar.

Viel zu kleines Bad - selbst für schlanke Personen ziemlich eng, Matratzen echt gruselig - komplett durchgelegen, vielleicht für Londoner Standard sauber aber für uns Deutsche total dreckig. Dreck bzw. Essensreste unterm Sofa, klebrige, verschmierte Tische, verschimmelte Dusche, Toilettendeckeln nicht mehr ganz in Ordnung. Hausflur/Treppenhaus richtig dreckig.
