Lamington Apartments - London Hammersmith

I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I have to say that the stay was perfect. All the things mentioned as weak points were solved: there are dishwasher and sponge; body soap and shampoo; iron and hair dryer... and everything was spotless. Maybe I was just lucky with the apartment I got, but I have 0 complaints. After doing the check-in online from their email, I got the codes to enter the building and the room. Still, they called me on the day to explain the process and when I had to go to the front desk they were very helpful. I will come back in my future London stays!

We didnt manage to make work the reading lights next to the bed. Maybe they were broken!

Clean, comfortable beds, excellent location (cafés everywhere and just a 5 minute walk to the tube). Very friendly staff.

We were there during a heat wave and there was no airconditioning but that’s common in the UK and it was fine honestly.

The check in was easy and the staff very pleasant. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and beds extremely comfortable.

Fairly disappointed with first impressions of the property on walking in the front door to the apartment building as the property looked smart from the outside and was on a nice road but decor was very shabby once inside. The windows and oven were not very clean, thick dust along top of kitchen tiles and the shower had black mold around the bottom and between the tiles. The dining table looked cheap and was covered in cup water marks and the overall paint finish on the walls had lots of scuff marks on them. The balcony was shabby and not like the pictures on line. The welcome book said snacks and toiletries were included but there were no snacks and no shower gel etc, just sachets of milk, sugar and two small discs of soap. Email received before arrival said you could prepare a quick snack or Michelin star meal with the equipment provided in the open plan kitchen - not likely with the few pans and plastic utensils. Most of the cupboards had nothing in them! Overall, very disappointed.
