The rooms, beautify of the building
Loved it all. Just a bit disappointing that the hotel bar was Ona private hours two nights of our stay.

Nadia and another colleague at reception were incredibly helpful while assisting with a train booking issue due to a train strike. The food, location, and staff were all excellent. The property is beautiful and there is a good mix of old and new in terms of the interior design. The cocktails at the bar were fabulous. We would love to return.

The historic space until getting to the room
The location is not easy to be reached by taxi until the front of the palazzo so often we have to walk a bit, and it’s not pleasant when it’s raining and on a steep road. The room is a bare minimum nice room, quite a “cold” room in spirit, very small room, and very disappointing for the price we paid. The amenities are “poor”. I also requested a late check out for two additional hours only, and it was refused. We have stayed in similarly ranked hotels in Italy, in Rome included, but were thrilled by every detail of the service, room, amenities... Not in this property unfortunately.
