East Side Treehouse is a garage apartment behind, and separate from, a main house. With original wood floors, full kitchen and old fashion tub, the treehouse is the perfect refuge for your Austin adventure. Take your coffee to the private deck or dine outside alfresco under the covered patio table. Private parking is off the alleyway.

This apartment features a private bedroom with a queen bed, a shower/tub combo in the bathroom, separate kitchen and eating nook, living area with a tv and and a covered deck at the entrance, which is up a set of stairs. The bathroom features a claw foot tub and pedestal sink. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the basics for those that wish to cook during their stay. A stackable washer/dryer is available for your longer stays. In the winter you’ll have a slight view of downtown Austin. Other than the occasional dog barking, it`s very quiet and secluded-feeling, while still in the middle of all the eastside fun. Most mornings you’ll wake up to birds singing and roosters crowing. Coffee on the covered deck is delightful and perfect for people-watching. This location is ten blocks from downtown, less than three miles from UT, and less than one and a half miles from the Austin Convention Center. There is a bus stop two blocks away at Holly Street and Lynn. Walk south and you will find a hike and bike trail that will lead you to all sorts of adventures. Walk north and you will find the vibrant East 6th Street bar and restaurant scene. Just one block away you will find the best healthy Mexican food money can buy at Mr. Natural’s, and specialty cocktails at Weather Up. There is also a corner store nearby. If you are bringing a car, a private parking space is provided to you! Up for traveling around Austin without a car? This location is eight blocks away from the commuter rail line, a $5 cab/pedi ride from downtown and walking distance to so much! Minimum age requirement for all adult guests. Please inquire before booking. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets/animals at this location.



There is a vintage trailer in the side yard that is also an Airbnb. You will use the same pedestrian gate and may see guests coming and going.



There is a keypad lock on the door - you will enter the code we send you and you are all set to enter!



This apartment is accessed via the alley. Enter a code and the gate will open so that you can drive your car into the parking space. There is one reserved off street parking spot for this property. A full set of instructions with all the codes and more information is messaged to our guests the morning of your arrival.



Much fun is available to access on foot. Uber, scooters, bikes are also available to rent.
