Alpha Lodge, peaceful retreat, 14 guests max, fun & games, large parking area

This was a perfect place for our 13-member family fun get-away! The kids loved having a swimming pool and hot tub - and made use of them even though it was a little chilly during our visit! They also loved having laser-tag and video games. Sleeping arrangements were perfect - with kids hanging out on the second level and three bedrooms on main floor for the three adult couples. Kitchen was furnished with everything we needed to make great meals. Nice place in main living room to hang out and watch big-screen tv. The full bathroom in the shop was a life-saver, so kids were relegated to that one for showering. We thought one bathroom in main house for three couples would be inadequate but it turned out to be fine.Loved the little extras: Phone chargers in the bedrooms and kitchen. Washer and dryer in the main house as well as the shop. Individual heating/cooling thermostats. Room to roam on the grounds - we followed a game trail through the fern-covered woods one day. Loved seeing deer and other little critters on the property. Fun watching birds and using our Merlin app to call birds to us. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Close to the small town of Chehallis so was able to go to Sunday Mass service. All in all it was a wonderful experience and a great place to get our family together. Thank you for providing such nice accommodations!

We did a weekend getaway with kids and grandkids. Alpha Lodge was perfect. Great spaces for adults and children to gather and still room for people to get some quiet time. The home is exceptionally well furnished for a family visit - great selection of board games, full kitchen with both glassware and porcelain and durable plates and bowls for the kids and a game room where adults and kids were happy for hours. Outdoors included a swimming pool, hot tub, and a great selection of lawn games to play on the spacious property with a huge lawn. The host was very responsive to all our questions. This is an easy five-star review, highly recommended for families, friends, or work groups. We are looking for an opportunity to book our next stay.

Great venue! Cozy, fun and welcoming!

We were the groom’s parents at a wedding at the near by Red Barn Studios. The place was clean and very homey. We loved it the groomsmen got ready in the shop area and it was fantastic. Great home recommend for families. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
