About this house rental
Located only a 3-minute golf-cart drive from the beach, this upgraded, two-story home is a vacationer's dream! Sunlit and serene, this family-friendly retreat sits within eight miles of popular local attractions including Middleton Park, Oak Island Pier, the Oak Island Golf Club, and the Oak Island Lighthouse.
Spend a day sunbathing on a sandy beach or take in a concert at Middleton Park. Afterwards, come home to enjoy a soothing soak in your private new hot tub or gather around the firepit.
This home features a well-equipped full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a commercial ice machine, a new 6-person hot tub, a fire pit, an expansive island with counter seating, a dining table for 6, and a furnished lower-level patio perfect for al fresco experiences.
When you're not out and about enjoying the local sites, relax in the living area to take in a movie on the 65-in smart tv, enjoy a riveting game night with ample board games to choose from or unwind with your favorite music on the sound bar.
When it's time to call it a night, choose from multiple bedrooms including a main room with private balcony access, a suite bathroom with dual vanity, and a walk-in closet as well as a lower-level bunk room that opens right out to the patio which features a patio set with seating for 6, with a hammock and fan as well for them hot summer nights. The lower-level room features a 55-in game-console ready smart tv perfect for kids' movie nights.
For convenience and comfort, this home offers two full baths, two half baths, an outdoor shower, screened in porch with TV and seating.
HOUSE ITEMS:
You will be provided a starter supply of dish-soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand-soap, coffee, and tea. Linens, towels, are also provided. We also have more than 5 board-games, an oversize connect 4, and cornhole set.
BEACH ITEMS:
The outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower is located under the home in the backyard. The beach items, including 8 beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers, are all located on the lower level in the rack behind the stairs. This house features a commercial ice machine (lower-level storage closet) ideal for avid anglers and beachgoers looking to fill their coolers.
OUTDOOR ITEMS:
The hot tub seats 6 person and it's serviced and treated weekly, plus there is a skimmer net if needed. There is also a fire-wood starter kit for the outdoor fire pit, and a propane thank for the grill on the deck.

All communication during your stay will take place via the Airbnb app.
Quiet family friendly street, close to the center of town and beach.
We highly recommend using our six-seater golf cart for your stay (available during peak season from May to Sept). To use the golf cart, a waiver is required, proof of insurance, and you must provide a copy of your driver's license.
There is no public transportation nearby. There is plenty of parking at the house.

This is the first time, that the pictures match the place we stayed. Outstanding host! Excellent location, amenities out of this world, family vacation to remember forever. The best benefit is having island mobility with the use of their six seat golf cart. This made visiting the beach, a jewel as well as exciting to our granddaughter and nieces and nephews. Limited restaurants on the island, however, the rental was located less than 20 minutes to areas with fine dining, boat riding, and extra family activities. This place was an excellent location to have a family gathering. As you settle down for the evening, you can enjoy the hot tub, the fire pit, and the many games available for more fun activities. Different age levels did not matter because there were something to do for everyone as well as different locations of TVs in different rooms for people to enjoy however, you we did need the televisions because of the constant entertainment for family.
