This is where another 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom were added to make it the sizable 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with elevator it is today. Smith's Bermuda is it! The outside deck space is huge and a spot you will surely enjoy all vacation long! Really enjoyed where the property was and that it was right across from the beach and there was an empty lot so we could hear and see the beach all the time. The floors, however, were filthy. We rent lots of beach houses and we know sand is inevitable, but these floors had not been mopped thoroughly. Our feet were black if we went barefoot for any length of time.

Our family: my wife and I, my daughters, my grandchildren, always spend a week together in a large house either at the mountains or the beach. This year, we chose Oak Island. The property was all we hoped it would be. The view was spectacular. The house was well stocked. Our favorite room was the sun room. There we played cards, read, had great discussions, and sometimes just sat in the rocking chair and took in the view. When it was time to watch Thanksgiving Day sports, there were adequate TV's available for those who chose to watch basketball or football. Our family loved this place!

Smith's Bermuda was the perfect place for our family reunion. There was lots of space, good access to the beach, a well stocked kitchen. We had our dinners in the space under the house close to the BBQ and picnic table. We all had fun.
