About this apartment rental

Part of the historic Gadsden Hideaway, this thoughtfully renovated studio offers accommodation for
up to two guests while preserving a unique piece of Pensacola history. In the early 1900s, kitchens
were sometimes separated from the primary living areas of homes because of heat and fire concerns.
This portion of the historic property once served as the home's kitchen and has since been
transformed into a private studio now known as The Kitchen.

Built in 1918, the property also features original Pensacola-made bricks dating to the 1800s,
connecting your stay to more than a century of local history. Today, blending historic character with
the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable Pensacola getaway.

The Kitchen is tucked into Pensacola's East Hill Preservation District, an established neighborhood
known for historic homes, tree-lined streets and easy access to Downtown Pensacola. Downtown
Pensacola is just minutes away, while Pensacola Beach is approximately a 20-minute drive,
depending on traffic and seasonal conditions.

The Kitchen is designed as a simple and comfortable retreat for one or two guests. It's a great
option for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, military visitors and guests looking for a smaller
alternative to a traditional hotel room while staying close to Downtown Pensacola.

The studio includes a Smart TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, linens and
towels, along with access to laundry facilities. Despite its historic name, The Kitchen does NOT
have a full kitchen it includes a Mini refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee maker. There is no full-size
refrigerator, stove, oven or traditional kitchen inside the studio. With no full kitchen, you'll have the
perfect excuse to explore Pensacola's local restaurants.

The Kitchen is conveniently located near neighborhood favorites such as Maria's Fresh Seafood
Market and Olde East Hill Grill, with many more restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and bars just
minutes away in Downtown Pensacola.

Pensacola is known as the “Festival City of the South,” with festivals, concerts, sporting events,
arts and cultural activities throughout the year.

Traveling with friends or family? The Gadsden Hideaway, our neighboring one-bedroom historic
rental, may also be available. Booking The Kitchen along with The Gadsden Hideaway is a
convenient option for guests who want to stay close together while maintaining separate private
accommodations.

A very nice, comfortable room that served my purposes well. If I had any complaints it would be that the WiFi didn't work so well but other than that I was quite satisfied.

Basic studio apartment w a nice bathroom and roomy shower. Bed was a bit short in length (I’m 6’) Had a water supply issue but it was taken care of within a few hours.

The B&B was cute. Perfect for 2 people coming and going. We had a blast and enjoyed ourselves. They was very inviting. Only downfall, which is not on the B&B people is, its very noisy, and was hard to sleep. There is a fish market in the parking lot and they have deliveries early morning. And they pick the trash up about 5am. Only thing I can recommend is ear plugs for when you sleep. The bathroom door doesnt latch and the towels could be more absorbent due to the humidity down there. Otherwise it was great! Thanks!
