The location is excellent! There is a lovely patio with everything you need for a BBQ and outdoor cooking. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cookware, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The room was very cozy, with a comfortable bed and clean bed linen. The host was friendly and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and liked the house very much.
Unfortunately, the kitchen had been left untidy by previous guests. There was a large pile of dirty dishes filling the sink and rubbish left behind, and it wasn’t cleaned up during our two-night stay. The shared bathroom and toilet also could have been cleaned more thoroughly after the previous guests. The property is a little far from the city centre, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we had a car.

Owner answered texts when asking about the TV, remote for dvd, internet, plate ! Had a microwave, toaster, kettle which we utilised. Had a stove top (we didn't use). Fridge in shared kitchen area. Shower gel provided. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Powdered milk.
Unfortunately check in isn't till 6pm which meant that it was dark and wet trying to get to the property. The property is on the steepest street in the world and we were driving slowly up trying to locate the property so we could drop our gear off, but our car started slipping backwards ! Being able to check in whilst it is light outside would make a huge difference. The set up is 2 bedrooms either side of a lounge/kitchen area. I booked both rooms so knew we'd have the lounge/kitchen to ourselves, however, it is not set up for families to sit in the lounge/kitchen area. On arrival, the kids upstairs (owners area) were shouting and banging. This stopped around 7:45pm. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't hear them the next night. In the lounge area is tv but can only watch DVDs on it. There are a huge range of DVDs to choose from, however, only a few in our taste as a lot are foreign (nothing wrong with that). However, when we tried to play a DVD, as there is no remote for the DVD, the cursor was stuck on 'trailer' and we couldn't move the cursor across to 'play'. So, we tried again with another DVD. 40 mins into Zombieland it stopped, however, we couldn't fast forward over the glitch, as again no buttons or remote. Our planned family night was cancelled, we had to watch the individual small TV's in the bedrooms (normal tv). No remote for the heatpump in the lounge area. Unable to adjust the temperature. On the first night, we logged in to the internet. Had to ask after 20 mins why was it turned off... Thankfully it was turned on again. No hot water the first night so unable to wash the pots or have a shower. No washing up liquid (empty bottle) so the dishes were slightly dirty on the shelf. I used hand soap to wash up. On the second night, whilst preparing to eat tea, discovered only 3 plates ! I paid for 4 people. When I texted the owner, he brought an extra plate so we could eat our tea together.
