About this house rental
Set directly on Lake Wallenpaupack, this lakefront retreat sleeps up to nine and keeps the water at the center of your stay. Enjoy lake views, an on-property dock, tandem kayak, screened porch, fenced yard, firepit, grill, and comfortable outdoor seating.
The home has three enclosed bedrooms plus an open sleeping area. Two queen suites each have a private full bathroom. Bedroom 3 has one queen and one twin bed. The open sleeping area has two twin beds and no door. Important: guests in Bedroom 3 cross this open area to reach the adjacent bathroom, so it offers less privacy than an enclosed bedroom. All three enclosed bedrooms have individual mini-split climate control.
The full kitchen includes a dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and full-size appliances. Wi-Fi and four Roku TVs make downtime easy, and a travel crib is available for younger guests.
Outside, relax on the screened porch or deck, gather around the firepit, grill a meal, or head down to the water. A tandem kayak, paddles, and life jackets are provided. The dock is on the property and is reached by two flights of outdoor stairs; lake access is not step-free.
Parking includes a dedicated trailer space plus adjacent overflow parking. The driveway and turnaround are tight for boat trailers; guests towing should add their total vehicle-and-trailer dimensions to the reservation after booking.
The home has two private entrances. A car is required, and rideshare service should not be relied upon for local transportation. Responsive hosts live next door and are available if needed while respecting your privacy.
Up to two dogs are welcome for a fee of $75 per dog. Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarette use are permitted outdoors only and never inside. Bath towels and toilet paper are supplied; please bring shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other personal toiletries.

Excellent house. very clean. owner was very responsive and Barbara who checked us in and lives in the next door house really worked hard to take care of every request, even bringing over her cast iron pot because my son wanted to make French Onion Soup.I would stay again. Great location. View was fabulous. Dock was terrific to fish off of. Quiet and lovely.My only complaint was that the 4th bedroom did not have a door on it. It was really the sitting area outside of the 3rd bedroom and the third bedroom had to walk through the 4th bedroom to get to the bathroom. But we figured it out and all was terrific. Thank you very much to the owners and especially to Barbara who checked us in.

Our vacation was excellent!! The house was absolutely as described in the listing!! It had everything we could have needed. The owners really thought of everything that vacationers could need!! I highly recommend this listing. We will absolutely recommend to family and friends. We have been staying at houses around the lake for over ten years, and this house far exceeds any we have stayed at!! The owners were wonderful to work with!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Fantastic property. Clean and well maintained. Pictures were great but the property looked even better in person. Barbara was very helpful. Would definitely book again.
