"My husband and I stayed here when we planned our elopement in Glencoe. The home was perfect and provided us a beautiful quiet space, we woke up to sheep in the pasture every morning and the bike path ..."

About this cottage rental

Situated in the idyllic rural village of Duror in the West Scottish Highlands offers serenity and comfort to all its guests and is only 5 minutes drive from the heart of Glencoe village.

The cottage is bright and beautifully decorated with an open plan well-equipped kitchen/dining room, plus a lovely living room with a wood burner, television and cosy couches. There are three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a single, plus a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a large, enclosed garden with a well-kept lawn and a BBQ hut so you can relax and enjoy the views after a day out. And great news for cyclists: there’s direct access to the Sustrans National Route 78 cycle path at the back of the cottage so you can explore the area on two wheels safely and with ease.

We have lovely restaurants in close proximity to the cottage, a short walk or drive away, selling locally produce such as locally reared beef and seafood freshly caught that same day. Our favourites are the Old Inn in Appin for steak and the Hollytree hotel for seafood.

For the children, there is a play park across from the cottage; there are lots of water activities and outdoor pursuits to choose from. Alternatively for some indoor fun, soft play bowling and the climbing wall are great for rainy days, in the near by Fortwilliam and Kinlochleven.

There are two swimming pools in the hotels nearby, complete with sauna's and jacuzzi's, all for public use.
