The location is perfect
The check-in instructions were unclear, which made the arrival stressful as I struggled to find the keys. I eventually received help to contact the host, as communication in English was somewhat limited.
The apartment is also very noisy. You can hear everything from outside, and there is a nightclub downstairs, which made it difficult to sleep — especially with a child.
In addition, the cleanliness did not meet expectations. The pillows and mattress appeared quite old and had visible stains, which made the stay uncomfortable.
Finally, the apartment is never fully dark. There are no proper blackout curtains, so light constantly comes in. Combined with the nighttime noise, this made it hard to rest properly, even in the morning.
