A really comfortable and relaxing stay!

Our room was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and a marvelous view. The bathroom was wonderful with a hot and powerful shower. The breakfast is easily accessible and was perfectly balanced for us. Croissants, juice , fresh fruit, cereal bars and excellent coffee! Marcus was very helpful and was happy for us to check in earlier had we needed too. A super place and experience. We will definitely return! Thank you!

Brilliant hotel stay- not so great breakfast

Fabulous stay, host welcoming and on hand. Reception area with coffee machine, snacks and drinks etc lovely idea. Rooms are modern and clean. Bathroom spacious and clean. Have absolutely no complaints about the hotel or the stay.

We were recommended the breakfast. And we’re fairly disappointed. No clean tables for us to sit at had to ask for one to be cleared. Ordered more or less straight away. A few other tables were offered water which we weren’t. Had then wait 45 minutes when it wasn’t busy as we had missed the rush. With no choice of how to have the egg cooked on full English. Asked for poached was told not possible even though poached eggs are available on main menu When the breakfast arrived the fried egg was completely raw on top. Massive spillage by the door of a dog bowl, not cleared up properly at all

Loved our stay. A beautiful venue and an excellent hosting.

The view, the room, the high ceiling; all full of character and beauty. The modernisation of this landmark building is done with style. And Marcus was always there to answer questions and help (when we did not know how to operate the heating system).. Really enjoyed our stay and we'll be going back.

Not sure about the logistics of this. But, if you can arrange a luggage storage that would be great.

Great location and very comfortable room in a beautiful historic building

Nicely appointed and clean. Lovely little self service breakfast and coffee area. Staff in restaurant below very friendly when collecting key. Very quiet. Nice bedding . Good quality toiletries supplied. Would definitely recommend.

The main blind at top had no way of working it seemed and the secondary blind allowed light in…

Smart, clean and well furnished room on the quayside.

Very smart and clean room. We stayed in "Overlord", which has a nice view over the front from the side window. Nicely furnished and decorated, and the King sized bed was comfortable. Room was warm enough in January (4-7oC). Fresh fruit, yogurt, small cartons of OJ, and individually wrapped chocolate croissants were available for breakfast, but this has to be eaten in the room (at the small coffee table and 2 chairs by the window). If you want cereal bring your own and buy a pint of milk at one of the small local supermarkets nearby. Marcus checked we were settled after we had arrived and let ourselves in. The entrance door is on Paradise Street at the rear of the building. Clear instructions were sent by text in the morning of arrival, including a picture of the entrance door and key lock boxes.

Excellent accommodation in a central Poole area.

Super huge room in excellent location as it was two minutes from restaurants, shops etc. Easy ticket parking very close. A nice unexpected bonus was fruit, coffee, cereal bars etc which were complimentary. Very, very clean and secure place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Great location nice bright room

You can hear the other guests in there rooms and in the hallway not very soundproof. There is obviously noise from the premises around you which we knew so wasn’t worried about that.

Fantastic location and lovely room.

Loved the location of this property. It is quayside and is near shops and restaurants. The ferry to Brownsea Island is a minute down the road. The room was clean and comfortable.

Hard to know where to go to check in, but it was with the staff in the restaurant below. Paid for a water view, which it was, but you mostly looked out on the boatyard.

Perfect one night stay when visiting for a concert - arts centre walkable.

Independent cafe on the premises. Excellent service and good value. Small fridge in the room was a nice touch. Light and airy room, very spacious. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed and high quality towels and linens. Highly recommend and would happily return

Highly recommended, well designed and equipped accommodation perfectly situated in the Quay area.

Perfectly situated close to the both the Quay and main town. Very well designed and equipped with a bonus reception area for coffee in the morning.

Disturbance from a heavy rock band playing late on Friday night at a nearby pub but this is probably unusual.

A pleasant hotel that is good value for money.

The location is great - a short walk from the heart of Rye. The room was comfortable and clean. I found it to be good value for money when considering what some of the other hotels are charging per night. The breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from.

There was no-one to greet you at breakfast. A simple welcome and brief explanation of how breakfast works would be friendlier. The hotel is in need of some attention in areas but overall I feel it was good value for money.

Everything! Beautiful building. Lovely large apartment overlooking the port. We were upgraded and able to check in early. Comfy furnishings and 2 double beds. Loved our stay just wasn’t long enough!

Exceptionally nice room

We had a beautiful room with a sea view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was modern and well designed. The blackout blinds were good at keeping out the full sun from the quay.
