Chic Penthouse Grand-Place

The location and charm of the place was amazing. Our room looked directly down on the Grand Place which had people coming and going all day and late into the night but noise was no issue. We loved being able to take in the view from our window.

The staff was very disappointing. I reached out multiple times prior to arrival to finalize check in processes and get information. Did not even have a clear address. Luckily from the description and pictures I was able to get to the right building but could not find the door. Just before our check in I received detailed instructions to find the place and get the keys. We had to leave our bags with part of our group and walk almost a mile to their office, access a lock box and get our key. No staff present. We had a group of 5 adults and only had 2 towels in the apartment. The bathroom sink did not drain. After several attempts to reach staff, we got a reply of “please send videos of sink and check all drawers for towels, we will send someone out.” We had to go purchase our own towels. This was all on day one of a 3 night stay. We had no other responses to our multiple attempts on different sources , email, text, and what’s app. On our last day we got some automated messages about checkout and finally a message from staff saying “sorry the cleaning staff did not leave enough towels and a repeat of check out processes. Despite the amazing location, I would hesitate to recommend staying here risking the lack of attention from staff.

Location was amazing and hosts were great with key pick up instructions, it was a 10 minute walk from the property and we were able to pick up some more towels while there. Check out was really simple and easy, again great hosts and an incredible property and location. Would def stay there again.

Falta de toallas ,microondas y algún fallo de mantenimiento. (Como los estores.., manillas puertas.....etc)

Location was unreal!

The host did not communicate with me at all before the exact minute of check in despite me asking 13 times if we could have early check in. You have to go approximately 1 mile to pick up the key (instructions arrived at the minute check in opened). By the time we walked to get the keys (which were not in the lock box in the mystery location when we got there!) and got to the apartment it was nearly an hour after check in time. Beds not made, had to message host who asked cleaners to come back. Also asked for towel, we were given one (that was very old)! Despite apartment being booked for 5 people. Pillows were dirty (as we saw without cases). Had to chase for hours to get more towels. No cloths, washing up liquid or hand soap. Felt like zero effort is made for guests, not even bare minimum. It’s such a shame as it’s in an amazing location. I was asked to leave the keys on the dining room table upon check out, I was very tempted to leave them at a mystery location a mile away…….
