Gostaríamos de agradecer a excelente estadia. A casa correspondeu às nossas expectativas: estava limpa, confortável e bem equipada. A comunicação foi sempre rápida e atenciosa, o que tornou toda a experiência agradável.

A localização é excelente.

It’s a pretty house in a beautiful location

Hosts were exceptional and met us onsite to deliver the key and show us around their property. They gave us a run through on how to operate stuff and were very welcoming. They even had a thoughtful basket of goodies for us. During our stay, we had to notify them of toilet flushing issues and they were prompt in rectifying the issue. They also provided us with additional packets of butter and the husband was nice enough to take us to the airport for a small fee when taxies were not available to take us given the town festival that day.

The location was difficult to reach Angra by foot. There is a long and winding road you must walk and there is no safe place to walk along there for pedestrians. Unless you plan to get around by taxi or walk into the town of Ribeirinha to catch a public bus, you need to have a rental car. Walking to the grocery store or historic center or marina of Angra is not a safe option. And cars drive above the speed limit in this section of road. The house was quite large with a nice backyard and rooftop deck. However, the house is old and smelled quite musty and moldy, especially in the entryway and main bathroom. The smell permeated through the whole house and gave me a headache. The toilet plumbing is old and you cannot flush toilet paper down there (you must place used toilet paper in the provided plastic bin). During our stay, the toilet would not flush down large deposits of poop, and we had to reach out to our hosts to rectify this issue twice. The washing machine and dishwasher were labeled as inoperable during our 3 nights stay. Also, sparks come out when plugging stuff in across several of the outlets. My friend traveling with me actually got a shock when plugging in her cell phone. I really wanted to like this place a more - the hosts were so nice and this place had received good ratings from other guests at the time of our booking.
