The property is lovely, and the location is very convenient… close enough to Horta to easily drive there, and yet it feels like a small village atmosphere.
With the excellent reviews of the property, I was expecting other people to be there, even though we are passed high season. I was there for four nights and I was the only guest. It was a little too quiet for my experience to get top rating.

Tutta la casa è molto curata, in stile coloniale.
Struttura pulitissima, colazione ottima e abbondante con ampia scelta di cibi e bevande. Cambio asciugamani giornaliero.
Abbiamo fatto ritardo al cheeck-in causa maltempo e avvisando Filipe siamo stati accolti anche oltre l'orario concordato inizialmente.
Parcheggio privato disponibile interno alla struttura.
Ottima posizione per visitare l'isola.
Vicino abbiamo trovato anche il ristorante self service Avozinha con cibi locali e vari tipi di verdura cruda a prezzo conveniente.
Tutto OK.

Museum-Style accomodation with old furnishings, very clean, nice patio (though no beautiful views)
Without transportation you are lost up here, next supermarket 25 min. walk. No views of the sea or the village from the house. Landlady was not really helpful - I asked her for the supermarket and told her I had to walk there, since we did not have a car. She let me walk and then I met her at the supermarket, where she had gone by car right away. Same on the way back.
No cutlery or plates available, in case you are bringing food. Door bell was not answered for 10 Minutes. Not really a farm atmosphere and not really in nature. More like directly on a street crossing in a rural hamlet. Traffic early in the morning.
