Duplex Majorelle Marrakech

I will try and remain fair although i dd not enjoy my stay. The apartmemt is huge and was clean on arrival. It has everything you will need as a family apart from an iron. The beds are comfy, the kitchen had pots and pans and cutlery. There was also a coffee machine. There was a drying rack and washing machine. Not many bowls I think there was 2 but we improvised. There is wifi with netflix. The pool is lovely on a hot day and the locals friendly. The security guard sits on entrance and is helpful. Its a very short walk to majorelle gardens. There's a carrefour nearby a pizza/ sandwich shop and a local shop selling bread and juice etc

If you want to stay near jardin majorelle the location is perfect its a 1 minute walk. There are horses nearby so the road can be smelly. But this isn't immediately in front of the apartment. As we came in the first night there were several cockroaches on the communal stairs but none in apartment. My main issue was I had small children and the AC was not working we spent 4 days here without AC in 40 degrees heat. None of us slept. You would shower and come out and drip within seconds. The owner was polite initially but not in a hurry to fix the AC we communicated back and forth and even though she sent a technician they tried saying that it not working because we turned it in and off. For this reason it blows hot air from outside no cooling mechanism. The stay was very unpleasant. It ruined our holiday as everyone was getting ratty. Rather than apologise the owner messaged me when we were leaving just asking for her 60 euros of tax. Then later messaged me saying the least I could have done was turned the AC off when the technician clearly told us not to touch it. It was not functioning. No mention that I had cleaned the whole apartment including washing some bedding to save the cleaner this task. A very unpleasant stay and rude owner. No offer of compensation so if you want to swelter book this place .

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Lage des Aparthotels ist ausgezeichnet – nur etwa 100 Meter vom Eingang zum Majorelle-Garten und zum Yves-Saint-Laurent-Museum entfernt. Die Medina ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar (ca. 10 Minuten bis zum Eingang), und die Gegend ist sehr schön und sicher. Im Erdgeschoss des Komplexes, auf der Straßenseite zum Majorelle-Garten, befinden sich Restaurants und Geschäfte. Alles war sauber und sehr empfehlenswert. Die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber war hervorragend: M. (der Gastgeber) hat uns bei der Ankunft bereits auf der Straße erwartet, uns alles gezeigt und uns bei der Abreise sogar um 3 Uhr nachts zum Flughafen gefahren. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, und ein größeres Lebensmittelgeschäft ist etwa 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Etwa 100 Meter vom Eingang entfernt gibt es außerdem eine Taxi- und Kutschenstation für alle, die die Stadt auf eine andere Weise erkunden möchten. Den schönen Swimmingpool haben wir wetterbedingt leider nicht genutzt – es war etwas zu frisch ;-) und an einem Tag hat es geregnet. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft – vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

Great location - a bit of a walk to the Medina but not too far. Also reasonably close to the bars and restaurants of Gueliz. There are convenience stores and small supermarkets nearby. Because of the adjacency to Les Jardins Majorelle there are plenty taxis if you need one. The apartment itself is bright and airy with aircon that operates throughout. It was lovely to be met by the host in person (Mourad) and so kind of him to allow us to leave our bags after checkout.

We really loved the apartment and would be happy to recommend it but there were one or two things that would have made our stay even better from a practical and comfort perspective. For example there was only one small sharp knife for food preparation which had a serrated blade. This is ok for fruit and vegetables but not so good for meat. It’s great to have a washing machine and drying frame but it would have been even better to have an iron and ironing board. The beds were very comfortable but the duvet covers and pillow cases were polyester which is good for washing and drying but not comfortable when trying to sleep in a warm climate where linen. These are minor issues that aren’t a big deal but would be ‘nice to have’.
