Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge

If you are looking for the perfect stay in Sapa this is the place! The views, the authentic feel, the peacefulness and the home feel all make this stay so special. We were welcomed by the lovely family with open arms, from helping us get everywhere with a driver at hand to cooking us home made food fresh from their own garden and even helping us book our tickets for Mount Fansipan (Highly recommend). On my first night the family sat me down and welcomed me, letting me have dinner with them. I felt so at home. I can’t forget their lovely kitten Bắp cải. We will miss everything about this lovely family and our special stay here. Thao, Nam and Dam (Anna) We look forward to going back already. Thank you again!

The room was not topped up with amenities daily such as water. Staff took some time to reply to messages prior to our stay there ie: 1-2 weeks prior to getting hold of other contact numbers once we were these for our actual stay. Situated in a small village with a community radio service that blasts news and messages via a megaphone at 5am for about an hour every day.

Sapa Ecolodge is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful away from the busy main town. The views are stunning, the atmosphere is calm, and it’s a great place to relax and switch off. Still close enough to explore Sapa, but far enough to enjoy some quiet time.

The only downside was the communal voiceover announcements in the early mornings and late afternoons, which were quite disruptive and made it difficult to fully relax or sleep in.

It was quiet and peaceful which we liked. Beautiful surroundings. The girl working there, Tao, spoke good English, and helped us a lot with arranging a hike and other activities. Easy to go by car to Sapa, but we enjoyed the quietness at the homestay more. The dog and the kitten were lovely.

Nothing really. Perhaps the announcements coming through loudspeakers in the village now and then.
