For guests with a car, there is also a very good and quick access to the levadas and trails in the area of ​​Santana and Sao Jorge and to the Sao Lorenco peninsula. You can get there earlier and much faster than from Funchal, which is very important if you want to find a parking space. In addition, in the morning there was always fresh homemade bread or buns waiting at the door.

This is not about the house, but about the public transport system in general. There is a bus stop next to the house, but you have no idea which buses stop there, there is no timetable and you don't know when you can expect a bus. This is the case all over Madeira. Only some bus stops have timetables and you can also find them online, but for many lines outside Funchal they are very imprecise.
