Gouveia Family Escape

Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon is fantastisch. Joana is een geweldige host die je echt welkom doet voelen. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer ruim met maar liefst drie slaapkamers!

Het appartement zelf is wat donker omdat het lager gelegen is. Dus wat minder daglicht.

Fijn contact met de verhuurder en prettig appartement. Hele fijne tijd gehad, alles was goed schoon en de faciliteiten waren aanwezig.

Mag wat ons betreft wat meer sfeer verlichting (alleen LED) en het was niet lang warm water. Verder weinig wat niet beviel!

It's a really cozy place, tucked away between other, mostly non-holiday properties. All around you, you can hear and see the local life going on, in a very laid back way, which reminds of how life used to be in my own country about 30 years ago, and I don't mean that as a dig on Madeira, I actually really appreciate that. The place was very clean, and has everything you might need. Instructions are very clear, and communication with the host is great. Lovely attention to detail, and in my case, some seasonal decorations.

Parking is on the road, which is normal in rural areas of Madeira, but takes some getting used to and means you can only get (stuff) out of the car on one side, and you're expected to sort and throw away the trash a bit down the road when you check out.

L'équipement du logement et son implantation. La petite ville de Machico et la proximité des picos Arieeiro et Ruivo, la punta do Lourenço, Santana, Funcha... et les 2 bananes cueillies sur l'arbre que le propriétaire nous a gentiment donné, un régal 😁

Les ressorts du lit... mais je suis particulièrement difficile sur ce point 😆
