+ sehr freundlicher persönlicher Empfang durch Joana mit umfassender Einweisung + Fewo sehr geräumig, sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet + gemütliche Terrasse extern (ein Stockwerk höher) + individueller Parkplatz in der gegenüberliegenden Tiefgarage + Restaurants, Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Strand fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar + Lage gegenüber Igreja Matriz sehr romantisch
KEINE Kritik, lediglich kleine Hinweise: + Lage gegenüber der Kirche bedeutet natürlich auch Glockengeläut + sehr viele Treppen bis in die Fewo

The apartment is big and spacious and having a spot in a garage right across the street was great. Everything you need is within walking distance, shops and banks, cafes and restaurants and of course, the beach.. there is even a friendly cafe right downstairs in the building. The balcony up on the roof is great for mountain sunsets. I found it to be a great base for local hikes. Boca do Risco was great!
Things you should know. There are stairs. The church is right outside your window and will promptly wake you up at 7am every morning. Luckily, it doesn't go all night. There is no air conditioning and no shower gel or shampoo. In the kitchen, you'll find only salt, pepper and oregano. The coffee situation was just a pod machine with 2 pods. No sugar or coffee creamer. The check out time, while quite normal in Madeira, is brutal at 10am. Despite the minor inconveniences, I still enjoyed my stay a lot!
