Spacious 2BR Apartment Central Colchester Near Station Fast WIFI

The hosts responded quickly to our queries and provided an extra radiator promptly due to the cold. The location is excellent in terms of convenience, however we had originally booked a flat that faced the back of the streets which would have minimised the noise pollution mentioned below. Unfortunately we could not stay there. The flat was clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay again but would do so at the original inward facing property instead.

The location of the property is both a blessing and an issue. It is well located next to the train station and close to the shops. However this convenience comes with the price of noise in the early hours from traffic and also customers from the night club below. Having come from Asia and a warmer climate, it would have been appreciated if the host had turned on the heating prior to our arrival. If you are planning to stay in the winter, ask for an extra radiator.

Convenient location. Basic essentials provided. Plenty of local places to eat etc.

Tv not connected to Internet so unable to use it. Vague smell of cooking and previous occupants smoking. Shower head too high so water splashed over end if bath.

How close it was to station And not far from restaurants and shops

Wasnt aware of how many stairs there was in the property more details of this would of helped as we had a disabled person in our group Was a bit pricey for what it was We had to wash the dishes before we could use them There was a foul smell as you walked in the door And we had to report a broken bed to owner Also the bath had no plug so couldnt have a bath the mop bucket was broken so cleaning floor after use was impossible There was stains on the sofa The wifi wasnt great which caused us to go with tv most of the time as it relied on wifi
