A true gem. I was overnighting on business but I would like to book in for a few days on my next trip through.

A good quality mattress but a bit soft for my liking. The Wifi wasn't great.

A very comfortable stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful and I felt safe staying there on my own. I really enjoyed being so close to the sea...beautiful sunset views.

Nothing I didn't like but I felt cold at night, even with all the blankets on my bed! Maybe an electric blanket or hot water bottle would help in winter.

Location good. Very clean and comfortable.

I liked that the place was quite clean and neat. The bathroom was very decent and the bed was very comfortable. The bed linen was also fresh and clean. There is ample cupboard space. The little kitchenette has everything you need for your stay. Overall it is a neat little bungalow for holiday makers.

It was very unfortunate that there was a lot of building work going on at the neighbouring properties and that was very unpleasant to listen to. Starting early in the mornings and going on all day. I realize that this is not the fault of the host but a heads up would have been nice with the option to reconsider the booking or make other arrangements re work since I had taken all my work with me and was planning on spending a few hours a day keeping up. This turned out to be impossible and De Kelders being such a tiny place there are not a lot of options with work friendly coffee spots etc. The building work going on meant that I also could not open any curtains and few windows and I could not use the little porch. There was also some damp in the room near the ceilings which probably needs to be addressed. The one set of blinds in the bathroom did not work so stayed permanently open. I would not be opposed to staying there in the future if all surrounding building work is completed
