Value for money, if just for the location

Hermanus beach club is well placed, close to town but private too. The rock pools were my favorite thing, and the grounds and facilities are well looked after.

We were concerned about the informal settlement just outside the fence, but found it was the noise of th Abagold factory which actually disturbed us. The informal residents were not a problem at all

It was a very comfortable unit. Luckily, the owner also lives on site and we were able to get his assistance. They should take the TV unit out to make more space The bees were super comfortable

Good Morning Xania Everything was good thanx like always. The only thing that I just want to bring to your attention is that we found some bed bugs on the couch in the lounge. So, if you can ask the house Cleaner to please fumigate if possible. other than that, it was very nice and comfortable.

We were made aware of the proximity to the township, would have liked to be informed about the proximity to the abalone farm- as the machinery is quite noisy at night. Also weren’t informed that the beach club pool is empty😔 would have appreciated a few essential kitchen items; eg: salt, pepper, oil, a lighter/matches for the braai.

Comfortable and pleasant.

It was easy to check in and check out. It was comfortable and all we needed. It was also quite and pleasant. I liked that the fridge was on and the TV and internet was working and that there was hot water.

I would have liked white linen and towels and plastic plates, glasses and cups for children. Although it is clean it needs a bit of maintenance.

Do you know where this place is situated? II was so close to turn around and go home. Maybe take a photo not only of the area, but around it as well.. the view to the front, beautiful!! All clean and beds comfy.

The location of this booking was very unfortunate. No attention to detail.

Did not feel safe. Only one road into the complex and it was a road sharing with a squatter camp. Who were noisy till late at night. Although the owner did reiterate that it was next to a location 2 days prior to our trip we didn’t expect how close the flat was within the complex to the camp and did not see it in the original description. Also google maps shows a completely different location if you put in the address. Front door opens up to full view of squatter camp. Flat on the 2nd floor. Felt very vulnerable when it got dark. Kitchen had bare basics. Horrible utensils and no oven gloves, scissors. Bare minimum. Unmatching bath towels. Patio needed a clean. Owner did communicate the load shedding schedule which was appreciated.

Lots of amenities, excellent accommodation. Very modern, clean, with everything you could possibly need. They had a mini dishwasher, Weber, even a gas stove for load shedding, lights ready to go for load shedding. Just great.

The only thing I didn’t like initially is that when you drive up, literally right outside the property is a location and I was warned about safety on the road driving in. Didn’t go out at night as a result but I’m saying that, security at the beach club is good.

Very good

Great stay over spot if you are looking to be in and around hermanus. The broader facilities are quite accessible (pool etc). The location itself is picturesque. As someone always concerned about safety, I felt quite safe. The Township is not a bother as the Beach Club is highly secure. Our windows were also beautifully sea facing. My 2 kids felt at ease and at home. Enjoyed the access to DSTV. Loadshedding - there are chargeable lights provided in the house which worked out perfectly.

Nothing that I didn't like. If you are a family looking for a holiday home to lounge and chill in, the overall space might be too small. However if you are looking to use it for accommodation and you have plans in and around hermanus, then that's perfect.
