Very comfortable accommodation

A very quiet neighbourhood albeit far from the actual town. Private parking available in the driveway. The room was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen with coffee and biscuits provided. Our host made us feel very welcome and would recommend this accommodation

If you need to be close to a golf course or the beaches, this place is ideal.

Didn't have the supplied breakfast as I am gluten intolerant. Looked yummy though, cereals, rusks and milk. Nice and quiet, and very close to the golf course.

Lovely sound of water outside, but a few amorous frogs occasionally disrupted my otherwise peaceful night.

Warm welcome from Johan. Lovely rooms with generous supplies of tea/coffee, snacks and cereals. Large ensuite bathrooms. Added bonus of large communal living/dining/kitchen space and outdoor dining area.

Great place of our needed rest...

Johan was such a great host - welcoming, friendly and understanding. The room was really nice and comfortable. The area itself was peaceful and perfect for the kind of break my family needed. We did not even get to explore and exhaust the options the area has to offer - we are definitely going back.

Johan was a wonderful host - he took the time to give us lots of recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. We stayed in the “budget room” but there was nothing budget feeling about it. The shower is amazing, there is a huge bath, and the bed even has electric blankets. We would love to stay here again!

Highly recommended!

The rate we paid for the night was a really low budget amount and I was expecting a lower budget experience, but was so impressed with what we got. The room was amazing with a heated blanket, three types of cereals, a carton of milk, a jar full of rusks and Kit Kat chocolates on the pillows. The bathroom was huge and my husband said its one of the few times he has found a shower he felt that comfortable in. They also provided a nice big bottle of bodywash, which is way better than the silly small soaps some places give. I will definitely be staying here again.

It was further from the town than expected, so not walking distance. This wasnt an issue though as we had a car.

Overall my partner and I had a great time here and I would highly recommend it.

The room was great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Hermanus. The area was also very lovely and also pretty quite. The staff were also very helpful. Plus having a bathroom with a full shower and bath and also both of them being quite spacious was a nice bonus. Plus that electric blanket was a real life saver in those cold winter nights.

I feel like it could be stated a bit better on the website that your in a shared space since the room is private but you have a shared living space with other guests which isn't a bad thing and especially for the price, location and the quality of the room I really don't think you could beat it.

Friendly owner who took time to meet and greet and explain all to us. Room was great. Very clean. Not a large size double bed but good enough. Was comfortable. Loved the Chocolate on the bed and the small array of breakie items. Overall excellent value for money! Almost too cheap for what one gets.

The shower had very low pressure and volume which was a not great. Thats my only complaint.

We had a wonderful time at this guesthouse. Johan is a super friendly hosts! The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean, with a luxurious bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable! There were thoughtful touches and the location is ideal! Close to good restaurants, the Cliff Path, and whale watching spots. The area felt safe and peaceful. If we ever return to Hermanus, we’ll definitely book this place again!
