The location is excellent. Right in the city centre within easy walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants etc, yet it is very quiet. The parking just outside the flat was much appreciated. The flat itself is comfortable, with a huge bed, very clean, well furnished and equipped. Bayreuth is a beautiful city and, when we were there in June, it did not feel too busy and was not overwhelmed by tourists. We loved it. The margravial opera house is truly breathtaking and its museum extremely well done and interesting.

The wifi was poor and the tp booster which might have improved things (we have the same system at home) was not working. Also, it seems that the TV did not offer access to Netflix or prime video which, for non German speakers, are nice to access from time to time. The light in the hall outside the flat was not working. It would also be helpful to indicate clearly that this is a first floor flat without lift, so not suitable for people with mobility issues; my husband just about managed the stairs which only had one handrail.
