Art Hotel by ABAD Guest

Very unique place to stay with authentic atmosphere and artistic touch. Clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with so many dishes, that kept coming and coming. The staff was very friendly. The courtyard was like an open air museum - lots of ceramic tiles and sculptures. Since it is right in the old town, the Shah Palace and upper Caravan are within short walking distance away.

The small downside was a bit of a musty smell in the room. But you are staying in an old building after all. And the shower pressure was somewhat low.

We loved the Art Hotel in Sheki and couldn't understand why it was so empty when we stayed. Why would you want to stay in one of the glitzy, try-hard places in town, when you can stay within the citadel walls, literally next to the Sheki Palace, in understated, tasteful comfort? Breakfast was freshly cooked and generous. The building is a characterful adaptive re-use of an older building, decorated with beautiful original ceramic work. Take a lovely, peaceful morning stroll through the citadel grounds before the bus loads arrive.

It's a beautiful item inside the castle which takes you back in time. Every corner is so pretty that you won't want to leave. The staff is a family who're very hospitable. Their authentic traditional breakfast spread is not to be missed. If you're visiting Seki, definitely plan to stay here.

The hotel was nearly empty, and we got the room bu reception with no view, just trees making the room dark Weak shower Unfriendly No laundry No support to arrange trips, luckily we had arranged everything at the bus station and a taxi beforehand Location may be beautiful and by the palace, but there is nothing else there at all. I don't mind the steep walk on cobblestone there, but it's really inconvenient with luggage, unless you have a taxi
