The suite by the horse ranch is great, big room, beautiful garden just outside your doorstep with amazing landscape, friendly animals all around you, good restaurant and friendly and nice staff too.

Great location, great rooms, you’re close to nature and you get to enjoy it properly. The restaurant had good food and the brewery had good beer. I really liked the breakfast concept as well.

We are on a five month trip around the world and stayed two nights at Lost Ridge Inn, Brewery & Ranch for a quiet, relaxing romantic break. It’s a beautiful, remote setting with excellent meals. Breakfast and dinner were both very good, and we highly recommend going to the patio at the nearby Aura Bodbe hotel for sunset (we walked up the road, then take the dirt ramp up past the tennis courts — much easier than walking to the main road entrance). It was the highlight of our stay. Room and comfort • Upstairs room, spacious and comfortable. • Winding steps to access the upper rooms (keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns). Practical tips • Bring a car — it’s remote and you’ll need transport to reach town. • If you’re sensitive to noise, request an upstairs room and avoid the ground floor. Even the upstairs room was noisy. • For a memorable sunset dinner, walk to Aura restaurant at Bodbe via the dirt ramp past the tennis courts. The food and views are amazing. Overall Lovely setting, great food, but the frequent loud business meetings, noise, barking dogs, and nearby construction made our stay less relaxing than expected. With better management of noise and housekeeping, this place could be better.

•Housekeeping needs attention — the drinking glasses in our room were dirty. • The property hosts frequent business meetings and outside visitors who were loud during breakfast afternoon and dinner, which undermined the peaceful atmosphere. • Dogs barked intermittently through the night waking us up. • Adjacent construction produced a very strong sealant smell that made the balcony unusable for the entire weekend; the construction appears long-term. Workers were on the balcony yelling at each other on Friday and Saturday. There’s no need to use the balcony and disturb the guests. • We left early because of the persistent noise and smell.
