This was an ideal stopover location, which suited our requirements.

The location was good; directly opposite the river with a lovely walk beside it. There was a separate kitchenette/seating area with milk and coffee/tea provided. The parking was in bays off the road. Bus or walk up into Preston centre and railway station.

The towels could have been thicker, otherwise everything was great.

It is NOT Luxury. It is squalid single student type bedsit with a sofa bed in the kitchenette, only a foot away form kitchen appliances. All the walls were marked and dirty, there was food left open in its packaging on work tops. Hairs on bed sheets, stains on bedding, mattresses and sofa bed. I have more pictures than the limit of four here.

Comfortable, clean, spacious stay, would stay again

A lovely little apartment type property with a large double bed with en suite bathroom and a cosy living room type area with a kitchen. We stayed here for one night and would stay again.

Good value for money and pleasant stay.

Nice and close to the University where we were visiting. Clean and comfortable. Nice shower. Excellent communication from the host and clear instructions for arrival. Nice touch of putting milk in the fridge, heating on so it was warm for our late arrival.

Just small points to mention a) There were no hand towels and the bath towels were a bit thin. We only stayed 1 night though, so fine for a short stay. b) We found the pictures of the interior were accurate, but the outside pictures were a little deceiving as I had pictured a nice riverside position and this wasn't accurate. The river is behind a big wall and the property is on the opposite side of the road. We were puzzled as we arrived in the dark and we were unsure if we had the right accomodation. A little disappointed as in my mind, it was a newish property with a lovely view and this wasn't the case.

Reasonable price, good location and did the job required for a 2 night stay ...

Very pleasant property, everything you could need in the flat. The owner put in milk etc. so you could have a cuppa... Owner was great with communication on the day and during the stay, gave recommendations for places to eat etc.

The only thing I would say is that the larger room upstairs uses the Kitchen outside the flat we were staying in so when I went out in the morning for a ciggie, I was shocked to see people eating their breakfast ! lol

Great Week would book again

The Appartment was very clean & hosts were very attentive & done all that We asked of them.The Appartment was very well equipped ie Oven, hob, toaster ect all that you would have in your own kitchen, There is a very comfortable bed & it has a lovely ensuite. It was close to local parks which were very nice and a nice place to sit & relax was also in easy walking to the city centre & travel links. A Great Base for our week away.

Comfortable solo stay, lovely host, ideal for exploring Preston.

I had a lovely stay here for 5 nights. The property was easy to find with lots of free parking surrounding it. It was a short riverside walk through to Avenham park and about 20 minutes from the city centre on foot. As I was early to check in, the host greeted me himself and and set me up with the Wi-Fi and a number to contact if there were any issues during my stay. I then waited in the communal lounge area whilst the room was being prepared. There was also a well kitted out communal kitchen for all guests to use. I stayed in apartment number 1 on the ground floor which had a bathroom, bedroom and its own kitchen / lounge area. It had its own secure pin code entry system and I also had a key to get in and out of the building. The facilities in the apartment were brilliant and lots of amenities were supplied - towels, coffee, milk, smart TV etc. It all looked freshly painted and nicely taken care of. The surrounding neighbourhood seemed very quiet and calm whilst I was there. I was really comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. Thank you!

Highly recommend

Very nice apartment, it had everything we needed for a few days. The host was amazing and really welcoming and really helpful, the location is perfect its not inside the main part of town but is very short walking distance. Probably the most comfortable bed ive slept on for a while.

Once inside it was fine, it just didn't have kerb appeal, quite a low class area

The room was fine, Couldn't open the kitchen window too high to open, had to clump up on unit, maybe add a small kitchen table/breakfast bar and buffets, no shelf in bathroom or shower caddy or loo brush, maybe a bathroom non slip mat as well

Didn't like the street appearance, houses looked run down and neglected

Lovely apartment

Very well appointed apartment, had everything we needed for our stay, very clean and in a nice location right opposite the river where there is a path which was good for running along. Great communication from the host.

Great ground floor apartment

We stayed for one night on a biking trip. Lovely location next to the river and everything we needed: storage for bikes and great accommodation. First class shower, comfortable bed and a lovely kitchen/lounge area with coffee maker, milk in the fridge and bottled water. Clear instructions on how to access the apartment.We ate at the Boat Yard - good food and a great atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Comfortable stay in central Preston

The apartment is in a great location, close to the river along which there are lovely walking tracks. It is an easy walk to the city centre. There is free car parking available on the streets at the side and front of the apartment. The landlord was very helpful with advice about local tourist attractions. The landlord responds very quickly to any questions. We liked the willingness of the landlord to seek feedback about his rental property. We like to stay in self contained accommodation which this place is. The landlord supplied some breakfast cereals, milk, tea, coffee and sugar, shampoo and shower gel. Towards the end of our stay we found out we had access to a larger kitchen in an adjoining room and that is where an ironing board is located.

The only seating in the apartment was quite a low two seater couch. We like to have a table and chairs in an apartment and the landlord received this feedback in a positive manner. The cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment is minimal, eg, no bread & butter plates, only two large glasses and two mugs.

Very nice warm self contained apartment

Everything you need was available. Very comfortable bed and very nice on suite. Warm and comfortable during winter stay.

Nothing, was a very nice new apartment. I would recommend a set of curtains on bedroom window rather than blinds maybe for more privacy.
