Extremely good value, met my needs very well and very helpful staff by text messages.

Close proximity to the town centre, it was very accessible and I didn’t need to worry about the car.

With a bit of TLC it could easily be a goldmine

Easy to locate, well equipped room, good wifi once I worked it out.

Room is in desperate need of a dust…see bed head. Under the bed a bit of a horror show. TV much too high and small.

Survivable if on tight budget, but lower your expectations. Not worths the money.

Codes were easy

1. Main door was often left open / unlocked and was as tge automatic closure mechisn didn’t work and people left it open. There was no door handle to pull it in so the only option remained to pull the door closed by holding onto the mailbox lid to pull it in. It was not the safest area so Idid not feel safe. 2. The apartment was very dirty. Large pieces of dust in corners and under/on furnitures. Hair in bathroom. It also smelled like human fragrance when I entered and had the feeling it hasn’t been cleaned and desifected properly. 3. The matress was so old and uncomfortable that I could not sleep on it. Could feel springs all over. I requested a new matress and the host delivered a matress comforter 2 days kater which helped slightly, but it still wasn’t great. 3 The laundry washing machine was very dirty, I decided to not do laundry there. 4. Noises from the neighbouring apartment vould be heard very well, the walls are paper thin and do not give a sense of privacy. 5. Parking was not ideal. The “off road” parking spot at the other house’s driveway was difficult and dangerous to maneveour into.

Studio apartment

The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was big and the room was spacious.

The room was rather hot and we could turn in the living space. But the bathroom radiator couldn't be turned down we had to keep the door shut to keep the heating inside. Would of liked more towels to have been provided for the stay. Before booking nothing was mentioned the 100 pounds holding deposit for damages luckily we had money to cover it or we might have had to cancel the booking and been charged anyway. Maybe state on booking.com about the deposit required. Still not been put back into my bank yet.

Good

Great budget accommodation, basic room with a small kitchen. I had no issues during my stay. Location is excellent, very close to the centre and the station. Easy to find as well.

The room could be cleaner. Bathroom, floor and bed very clean but most of the surfaces were not cleaned. Not a deal breaker, I didn't mind too much but definitely something that could and should be improved. More solid room doors and locks would be better as well.

The property was located close to the town centre. The bed was comfortable.

The property needed a good clean throughout and could do with being painted as there are a marks on the walls. The entrance hall and stairs leading up to the flat were untidy and definitely hadn't been hoovered for some time.

Horrible stay (dont get fooled by the overall rating)

Really bad stay. I got here after looking at the overall rating in Booking.com, which is decent. However, I regret not reading the reviews properly. My stay was during the first week of July 2025. It took me a bit to find the address, as Google Maps shows The Myriad to be in a different building. The building has no reception, I was given an access code once I paid a £100 deposit (in case I damage something in the building...) The entrance corridor and the stairs are in a horrible state, stains, patches, weird smell, etc. My room (room 5) was very dirty when I arrived. Dust everywhere, hairs in bed, lots of stains on the carpet, very old furniture. The room was boiling hot, the windows only opened about 5cms and had to play around with some keys to finally open them fully. I had to wait a full day so I could get an electric fan delivered, so I couldn't sleep properly during the first night. I am really not sure why I had to pay a 'cleaning fee', not once the room was cleaned during my whole stay. I was given a wifi code, but I couldn't connect to the network during my whole stay. There was no shampoo in the shower and no milk for tea. Overall, a horrible stay. There are other properties not far that give a way better experience at a similar cost.

Great property.

We stayed in apartment 3. The property was perfect. Spotless, had everything we needed including utensils in kitchen etc, great location. Communication from staff were great and kept check everything was ok. Not far from the station about an 8 minute walk. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend.

Horrible owner/manager left me in pouring rain for 2 hours

The TLC support staff and maintenance guy were amazing, supportive and understanding, he worked for 2 hours to get the door opened, while the lass on support kept me company and made sure I was at least not left totally alone before the maintenance hero arrived.

The front door lock was broken (couldn't be opened at all) leaving me stuck outside in the cold and rain for 2 hours AT 3AM until the maintenance dude sorted ladders and climbed in the back window to open the door from the inside. Both him and the TLC staff were kind and understanding, however, the hotel owner/manager.. if I put my real thoughts I'd be banned. I understand nobody likes being woken at 3am but the simple fact is, it's her bloody job to be in cases like this. She flat out told me "what do you want me to do, it's 3am, it's not my problem" Yes it's bloody well is. Unbelievable shirking of responsibility as the manager of the place because she couldn't be bothered to get out of bed and let me in. Let me state again: If you own a hotel and your patrons are stuck outside at 3am in the rain, IT IS YOUR GOD DAMNED JOB TO COME AND SORT THE PROBLEM. This arrogant and snide piece of work just repeated it was my fault that I couldn't open the door, the absolute gall to offer to send me a video showing how to open a fn door, I was astounded at her rudeness. Again I would like to offer endless thanks to the two heroes who got themselves out of bed at 3am to sort the problem but as far as the POS owner of this "family run hotel" goes, I'd hate to be in her family if that's who she really is when push comes to shove. Its lucky that the maintenance hero woke up for a wee and saw the calls for support as the owner was literally happy to leave me on the doorstep at 3AM, has not called me or made any contact to apologise, or offer a refund. I hope this review stings and is a wake up call. I hope it means people do not chose this airbnb. Of they don't, what does she want me to do, it's a bad review, not my problem!

Central location, free parking, clean and comfortable apartment.

Access instructions were sent via email which when followed were straightforward. There were no keys, the access code worked well. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable. the kitchen was well equipped, although we only stayed one night and did not cook. Location was central and parking was free. The apartment was clean, imcluding the bathroom.

The front door definitely needs replacing. It is shabby and one wonders whether it can keep anyone out.

It was ideal for our needs and access wasn’t a problem. A quiet location with ample free parking.

Lovely rooms will definitely stay again

Accommodation was lovely inside, we booked 2 apartments and they were perfect.

Strong drainage smell in lower ground floor apartment, was slightly flooding from drain to outside area in lower ground floor, we have children with special needs and it terrified them, for us adults wasn't a problem.

Lovely Little Flat

The flat itself was lovely and had everything my son and I needed for our stay. There was lots of communication and parking outside was ideal.

My only complaint is just a little lack of cleanliness in places. There were lots of marks on the walls and the bathroom floor very obviously hadn't been washed in a while.

Convenient location but not impressed with the cleanliness

The place was in a good location, near the train station. Bedrooms were a good size

There were ants in the main bedroom. The bedding in bedroom one had stains on it. The aerial for the TV in the first bedroom was wedged into the curtain rail, causing the signal to drop. The TV in the second bedroom lost signal on the first night and wouldn't connect to an aerial, so unable to use. The table in the kitchen was broken on one side, there were no hooks for the table to slot into, meaning it was unstable and we had to wedge it up to use it. The travel cot supplied had stains and brown marks on it. The number provided in the written information was incorrect as it didn't work. There was a lot of dust and dirt under the beds and behind the dressers. The bollard at the top of the steps were inconvenient when bringing a pram up and down. There was a door that lead to a corridor and it wasn't locked so anyone could have walked in. Parking pretty much none existent, unable to park outside, have to park car down a nearby street.

A great location for exploring Preston

The location was perfect for exploring Preston and the surrounding area. This was a great base for a family of three to visit another family member living nearby. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space and each with an en-suite bathroom with showers.

The only thing that could have been improved were to add utensils and crockery in the kitchen. We only had one wine glass and there were no scissors or sharp knives for food prep.

Absolutely amazing and highly recommend

The apartment was absolutely stunning, we loved our stay was close to where we wanted to go. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The bed in the back room was very squeaky and not great for comfort as the mattress wasn’t very comfy, but still enjoyed staying there.
