Lovely tiny house in the heart of Utrecht

Best for young people in summer

-Perfect location, -wonderful host, -great shower with underfloor heating, -garden setting, -toasty warm electric blanket on bed.

-No internet inside room, -steep loft ladder to access bed making it difficult and noisy for a 75 year old to go to toilet in middle of night, -bed under eves, making it impossible for second person to sit up in bed and difficult to get out of bed, -cold downstairs even with heating set to maximum - probably because of very cold concrete floors -cupboards downstairs full of landlords possessions, making it impossible to unpack suitcase without taking things up very steep loft ladder to bedroom area.

Good location, but not suitable for hosting people.

Good location. The host provided all the necessary information to get into the property. We requested an invoice, and they responded promptly with the invoice attached. The toilet and shower are fine.

There's no place to sit. The stairs to go to the bed are dangerous. There's no place to put luggage or clothes. The place was too cluttered with the owner's stuff, and was dusty. There's very limited privacy. It is cold and the bed and pillows are not really comfortable.

I don't mind rustic but for the price, I expected better.

I liked the quirkiness of the house and the hammock seats.

Wifi was terrible and kept cutting off. Garden was lovely but too dirty to enjoy as advertised, and was not really private due to proximity of hosts.

We had a very comfortable stay and the house was very cozy.

The bed was very comfortable and the heated floors in the bathroom was a lovely touch.

The only issue was that the WiFi was a little spotty at times. Aside from that there wasn’t anything we disliked

An interesting stay

- House: Tiny yet cozy and stylish, I particularly like the warm colour tone of the house; well-equipped; have fun climbing up and down the ladder; have our own private terrace inside the garden - Location: 20min walk to the Central Station and not far from the Center, also close to Jumbo Supermarket/ bike rental shop (10euro/24hour), safe and quiet neighbourhood - Host: friendly and responsive host

The personal clutter around. I don't like raking to find things so I couldn't make hot food and the kettle didn't work.

The price was good. There is plenty of hot water. The shower was good but dark. The garden was good but could do with a tidy up.

MUCH more light is required. Shaving was difficult. Property needs to be declulted.

Good value for the money but make sure you are okay with the disadvatanges mentioned in reviews.

Private location with a price far lower the the second least expensive option. Overall a pleasant stay, just make sure you read the reviews so you know what you are getting into and if it is worth the saved money, it was for me.

The accommodation is somewhat dark and can get cold in colder months, there are both underfloor heating and a radiator, but it was not enough to get the whole apartment warm (visited in early spring). The facilities are also limited (only small mirror and no sink in the bathroom, only in the kitchen). Apartment could be also cleaner a little bit.

Comfortable accommodation in peaceful, central location, bus every 15 minutes to city centre.

Comfortable, warm, quiet, self contained accommodation, good facilities including very comfortable bed, fresh and clean. Bus stop within 5 metres of front gate, Number 1 bus every 15 minutes directly to Utrecht city centre. Access to upstairs bedroom is via foldaway wooden steps, no issue for me, but worthy of mention. Host Marianne and her family are friendly and welcoming, and spend much of their time in an open sided building nearbly in the garden, provides added security.

Light fittings are ornate, but lighting levels are low throughout. Front and rear windows on ground floor are in secluded location, but only have net curtains, full curtains would have been nice to have,

Locatie met bushalte voor de deur.

Vanwege woekerprijzen van hotels in Utrecht had ik besloten een Tiny huis (tuinhuisje) te boeken. Omdat er nauwelijks internet was kon ik niet doen wat ik nog wilde doen voor mijn werk. "s Zomers lijkt me een verblijf een stuk beter wanneer je ook van de tuin gebruik kunt maken om te zitten.

top locatie maar voor ons niet meer.

de locatie ten opzichte van het centrum was fantastisch.

we moesten door een deur in de tuin naar binnen. wel goed geregeld met de sleutel..via een paadje naar het soort tuinhuis. vond het allemaal wat rommelig in de tuin overal zooi. de hostess was heel aardig maar was wat vreemd zat buiten in een soort bed ofzo onder een overkapping. . via een stijle uitklap vlizotrap moest je naar boven naar je bed. 2 persoonsbed onder een hele schuine kap. dus moesten beide op 1 helft van het bed liggen. anders lag je zo klem onder de schuine kap. de handdoeken zaten vol met raffels en gaten. alles was een beetje smoezelig. de locatie was top maar zou hier niet nog eens heen gaan. had zo iets ook niet verwacht bij booking.com. dit is niet wat je verwacht van een overnachting voor bijna 90 euro.

Hartstikke fijn huisje op een centrale plek met alle nodige voorzieningen.

Het was erg knus en comfortabel. De badkamer heeft vloerverwarming, wat echt heerlijk was. En het bed vond ik superfijn liggen. De hosts waren ook vriendelijk.

De vlizotrap voelde wel een beetje gammel en soms leek het net of hij in zou zakken, maar misschien hoort dat gewoon bij het systeem van de trap.

El millor és la ubicació.

Força brut. Molt poca llum. Si vols cuinar, no hi ha finestra ni sortida de fum. Per a un parell de nits compensa la ubicació, si vols una estada més llarga, no ho recomano.

Vriendelijke eigenaren Badkamer was netjes. Het was schoon genoeg

Garden kun je het niet noemen, eerder een vuilnisbelt. (zie foto, zicht uit de voordeur) Hun foto's komen overeen! ( mijn kinderen hadden voor mij een hutje op de hei geregeld) en daar is het goed mee te vergelijken. Eigenaren lagen in een buiten bed ivm warmte, onder mijn slaapkamer raam, waardoor ik mee kon genieten van elke kuch en scheet. Ik heb de hele nacht geen oog dicht gedaan en was blij dat ik weer naar huis mocht. Utrecht daarin tegen is geweldig.
