Historic canal house in green residential area

Wonderful stay at this welcoming, homely property with the loveliest hosts! Easy walk to everything in Utrecht, including the Centraal Station which was within reach with wheeled luggage. Very pretty neighbourhood, and as a solo-travelling woman I always felt safe arriving back at 9-10 at night. Room was simple but functional - large, clean, bright/sunny, with beautiful views over the canal and further afield. Ample storage and wardrobe space for my 9 day stay, and a kettle for making tea/coffee. Shared bathroom was on the same floor, as was a small fridge for guest use on the landing - both kept spotlessly clean. A full kitchen for guest use was a couple of flights down, however with so many cafes and restaurants nearby I didn’t get a chance to use it. The stairs throughout are VERY steep in traditional Utrecht space-saving style, and whilst not a problem for me, are not for the faint-hearted or those with mobility issues. Thank you so much for having me.

It was close the city center. Nice location, parking near by.

It was not very easy to locate via Google Maps, or it was just my experience not very good with locations. It depends

A wonderful location - within walking distance from the train station and all the major attractions. My room was at the very top, overlooking the canal. A beautiful view. The landlord and landlady are just the kindest, most welcoming people you can think of. I had trouble with my backpack and they helped me fix it. It's the best place to stay in Utrecht. I do not have any complaints.

There are a lot of stairs to reach the room and the kitchen was not clean on arrival. But overal this is good value for money in an expensive city like Utrecht and the location. is brilliant, with beautiful views of the city from the room.

The room was sparsely decorated giving it a bit a cold feel. The place could have been cleaner.
