Pleasant stay with exceptional hospitality

Great location, just a short walk from everything. The hosts are very kind and helpful and will make you feel welcome. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and many things were provided including own plates and cutlery, kettle, tea and coffee. Overall great experience for a few days in Utrecht.

Comfortable with priceless Dutch vibes

Perfect location: only a few minutes walk from the inner city, in a calm area of Utrecht. It is a classic old Dutch house, its vibe took my heart instantly. The view is amazing, from my window I could see the Dom, a canal and a mill. I couldn’t wish for more. I also loved that I finally found an accommodation that offers rooms for one person, (I usually have to pay more - most of the accommodations have double beds) because I mostly travel alone. The price was totally decent here. The hosts are sooo lovely and caring. They asked me several times that if everything went well, and they told me that I can contact them, or knock on their door if something is not clear for me. They offered that I can use their spices if I cooked, they prepared a bunch of teas and coffee in my room, gave me an extra blanket. On the second day they left a paper on my floor: “we hope your first night was pleasant”. All in all, I spent amazing 3 nights in the house, I’m so grateful for that!

Cozy. Friendly, Picturesque

Beautiful area, quiet and close to center at the same time. Train station is also only 20 mins walked away. The house and the room is incredibly neat and clean. I love the big desk in my room!

Peaceful

Above all it was the location. The house is beautiful and the room overlooked the canal. The owners were friendly and obliging. Noise wasn't an issue. It's a quiet area and it is very close to the city centre. I suggest hiring a bike for your stay - there is a special railing where you can tie up your bike outside the house, which I did for the week. The bike was my key mode of transport.

The room was in a very nice location.

The landlords were very nice and helpful.

The stairs. Too many Dutch stairs. I'm getting older and found the stairs were too many. Also, the kitchen was on a different floor which added to the amount of stairs I climbed.

Prachtig uitzicht over de singel en Utrecht. Dakterras. Hartelijke ontvangst. Koelkast en magnetron.

Geen TV of wastafel op kamer. Exclusief ontbijt. Drie lange steile trappen op.

Goede optie voor een kort verblijf, voor en langer verblijf zou wat meer comfort welkom zijn.

Ontbijt was niet inbegrepen. Locatie was prima. Communicatie vooraf en ontvangst waren vriendelijk.

Kamer was vrij basic, weinig aankleding, zou wat sympathieker mogen.

Ottimo per soggiorni brevi

Camera molto bella, ampia e attrezzata. Particolarmente apprezzata la vista del canale e le due finestre molto grandi. Ottima anche la posizione, a 15 min dalla stazione e 10 dal centro città, entrambi raggiungibili con una piacevole passeggiata.

Nella camera c'era molta polvere ovunque (tavolino, mensole) e il bollitore non era pulitissimo. Inoltre la strada sottostante è estremamente rumorosa, soprattutto nei weekend. Tremende anche le scale: strettissime, non adatte per portare su valigie.
