Beijing Tangfu Sanlitun BOUTIQUE Hotel

We quite liked the modern gizmos in the room such as toilet and lighting though the bathroom basin could have had better lighting. The staff were friendly, the cleaning could have been better. The location was a long way from attractions. Though Beijing is a large city. We found some good eating options close by.

As I said the cleaning could have been better, we did have a cigarette smell in our room one afternoon, but the was a one time thing.

bedroom was absolutely stunning

gym is not really a gym and breakfast is served in a room without windows

The room was so cool! It had absolutely everything we needed, and I loved that there were controls and switches for everything. Such a cool and thoughtful design! The staff were incredibly attentive. We didn’t need housekeeping during our stay, but they still made sure to leave bottles of water by our door for us. That was so sweet and thoughtful—I’ve never had a hotel do that before, and I was genuinely touched by the gesture. I also loved having access to a washer and dryer, as well as a steamer. It was incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. I would absolutely stay here again. We were very impressed with the room, the amenities, and the level of service!

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the breakfast at all. There were very few options suitable for foreigners or children. We were also concerned about the hygiene practices, as staff were touching the eating utensils with their hands, including the parts that go directly into guests’ mouths. Overall, the hygiene standards did not seem to be properly followed.

Breakfast can be better. Choices are limited.

The laundromat is bad. There should be more than one set of washer and dryer as the cycle takes more than 1 hour for washing and 2 hours for dryer. Not enough sets to cater to hotel guests. Some guests are so rude that they took out your laundry and left them in wet baskets so that they could wash or dry their laundry. Very bad image for the hotel.
