Timex Suites

My family and I have spent 8 nights at the Timex suites. The hotel is very good, has an elevator, offers free tea and coffee, and the coffee is the best coffee in Istanbul. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is very clean. The location is perfect. It is the elite part of the Sultanahmed quarter, quiet, safe, and only 300 m from the Blue Mosque. What delighted me and my family were the employees who all speak English extremely well and are very kind: Ibrahim, Mohamed and Arif and we also have meet Kemal. They helped us a lot to better understand the city, but also Ottoman history and culture. It was very important for us. There is a store just 50 m below, and a laundry 70 m away. Great place to stay. Sellam for the boys :)

I can not remember what I did not like. For Turkey way of life, place is very, very good. Maybe to invest in diferent kind table on the terace to fit more peapole?

The hotel room was cozy and comfortable, loved the hospitality of the receptionists… The breakfast was awesome as well. Would respectfully give it a solid 10/10. If i will plan to visit istanbul again then i’ll definitely stay in this hotel. There were e-sim and sim facilities as well which made it easier for us to travel around the city. it also maximised our time to explore the city fully without any hassle.

The room’s doors had unsafe locks and by this i mean the door lock was opened by a key which made the stay a bit risky.. nonetheless i didn’t felt like someone was preying upon us.

The location was great. It was walking distance all the main highlights of the city. The people in reception were nice, helpful and attentive.

Very ugly looking like building. Old and dirty looking. The common spaces were small and not pleasant. One was not feeling like spending time in there, and we tried to be at the hotel the lesser time possible.
