Overall, our experience was very good, the receptionist was friendly and he helped a lot and the services were great. The rooms were neat and the location of the hotel was very reliable and the view from the rooms were very peaceful.

The breakfast range was very good and omelettes were available on request. The room had a lovely view over the Sea of Marmara.

Our stay at Atam Hotel with my family was excellent. The cleanliness was at a perfect level, and the view from our room was amazing. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding—better than what you would expect even in much more expensive hotels. The location in Sultanahmet is fantastic. On one side, you can easily walk to Kennedy Avenue, where you can enjoy beautiful sea views, beaches, and lovely coffee shops along the coast. On the other side, just a 4-minute walk away, you’ll find some of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Obelisk of Theodosius, and many other important landmarks of Istanbul. I traveled with my parents, and booking this hotel was one of the best decisions I made. The hospitality and cleanliness were truly above and beyond, and I would highly recommend Atam Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The staff are welcoming and helpful.

The hotel building and the rooms are not soundproof. You can clearly hear the loud call to prayer, guests walking and talking in the hallways, and even the flushing of toilets from the floor above. The room view is of an abandoned, rundown building. The breakfast area is very small, lacks proper ventilation, has some steps, and the breakfast menu is not of good variety and quality.
