Ganga-Langa

Dort fühlten wir uns 3 Tage wie zuhause. Wir genossen die Ruhe am Fluss. Wir liebten es auf dem Balkon zu sitzen und die Affen und Varane zu beobachten.Ein Ort zum runterkommen. Der Preis ist wirklich günstig für das was man geboten bekommt. Unsere Gastgeberin war so aufmerksam und super nett. Da ich ein Medikament vergessen hatte fuhr sie mit mir zum Hospital. Sie hat alles gemanagt. Termin, Hin-und Rückfahrt, Apotheke. Soviel Gastfreundlichkeit habe ich noch nie erlebt. In die Stadt waren es nur ein paar Gehminuten. Ein Restaurant wurde uns von ihr empfohlen und es war super lecker. Diese Stadt hat zwar wenige Touristen aber man sieht hier das echte Leben der Einheimischen. Ich kann Ganga Langa zu 100 % empfehlen.

The lady owner, and the onsite caretaker were brilliant, very attentive and caring, they both showed a true lovelyness, helping me. Going above and beyond to care for me their guest, making me feel very at ease and relaxed. The building has been design by a talented architect and it shows! It felt like a hideaway where a novelist would write their next book, beautiful cabin feel. Very happy with my stay and would love to book again in the future.

The house staff is extremely courteous and helpful. In some other review the staff was described as unfriendly but this must have been somebody else because Mangala was very friendly and made the most amazing fruit platter for us at breakfast. The house has a very light footprint, with air flowing through from front to rear, a large veranda and the entire façade made up of sliding doors. The seamless transition from inside to outside is very pleasant.

There are only two minor things that could be improved: drinking water in glass instead of plastic bottles and as the property is on the water, some bottles and plastic bags get stuck in the water plants immediately beyond the garden. Those should be fished out. I would also try to make a larger gap between the trees facing the water so that you can enjoy the view more.

It was a beautifully planned and constructed house with timber and steel. The view of the river through the garden was spectacular.
