Full Moon Apartments & Villa - Hoi An

The location was excellent. Cleanliness and the appearance of the facility was a high priority. Staff were friendly.

The apartment furnishings were old and needed replacing like the sofa and one arm chair in the lounge. For short stays not a problem. Kitchen utensils were beyond their use by date. Ability to access push bikes - whilst being promoted- appeared impossible.

It was ok. Walkable to the old town, the pool was nice to cool off. Breakfast was ok, it got a bit repetitive. Restaurants along the same road are good.

We arrived to a safe box that did not work (this was fixed), a fridge that didn't work and never worked, they made the sofa bed up for my daughter and didn't provide pillows, we had to ask twice for this. On check in we were asked if we wanted to pay now or upon check out, we chose on check out. The following day we were told that we had not paid. We explained, the owner was fine and we paid on check out. There is a make my room up card for the door that we put on when we went out, to come back to no cleaning. When we asked we were told only cleaning every 3 days only (which is not stated anywhere), the owner did give us cleaning everyday after we spoke to her. However, the cleaning is pretty average at best. Rats running around the pool late afternoon (saw them two nights out of the 4, although not sure you can do much in the heat) It seems a mix of long term rental and people on holiday. Oh and pickleball next door, starts early 5.30 am waking up to not loud, but annoying pinging of a ball.
