Kisi Garden Hotel

A great family-run hotel close to Telavi with all the possible advantages one may think of: a large room, a terrace on the top floor, a very good swimming-pool, a breakfast with a variety of options. We spent 3 days in this hotel and the attitude of personnel was just exceptional. We were treated as family members - a rare attitude nowadays. Wine degustation resulted in buying several bottles of excellent Kakheti wine produced by the hotel owners.

The worst thing was that the sheet did not quite comply with the bed size. Hotel is good for those using cars - too far from Telavi, but taxi is an option. All the rest was just great.

Over the weekend, we stayed at Kisi Garden Hotel. The hotel has two outdoor pools: one large and deep (around 1.7 meters) and a smaller children’s pool (about 70 cm deep), which isn’t very big in size either. There are sun loungers and a café area nearby where you can relax in the shade at tables under umbrellas. You can grab a snack there or buy drinks and ice cream. The family rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, where there is also a large terrace with a beautiful view. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, which might be inconvenient for families with small children. The room itself is compact, with a double bed (140 cm wide) and a standard single bed, a small wardrobe with hangers, two nightstands, a chest of drawers, and a mini fridge. The hotel staff is friendly, but mostly speak Georgian. The owner showed us his vineyard and treated us to grapes grown there.

Het was super schoon en er was veel keuze bij het ontbijt wat we heel prettig vonden. Genoten van de pancakes. Dat de eigenaar ons mee nam naar zijn druiven en trossen voor ons plukte om deze op te kunnen eten vonden we ook erg leuk en lekker

Toen wij in het zwembad wilden waren er super veel kinderen aanwezig die volgens mij uit de buurt kwamen. Dat vonden we jammer, maar begrijpelijk op een warme dag dat ook zij verkoeling zoeken natuurlijk.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Menschen dort sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Wasser im Pool war richtig sauber. Es war zwar ein einfaches Frühstück, aber ausreichend.

Im Gebäude und in den Räumen hat es nach Plastik gerochen und da die Bettwäsche aus Synthetik waren, hat man schnell in der Nacht geschwitzt.
