Farmer's Guest House

Cheap place to crash in for the day. Has a kitchen, two WC, two balconies, and a large common area to chill.

Location is a bit far from the city center. I was just time passing and wanted to chill so it was not a problem. But if you plan to maximize your time and see all the attractions in Telavi, you probably need to take a bolt/taxi (which is not expensive, although can be a bit difficult to find during some hours)

I loved staying here. The guest house has a very nice atmosphere and the facilities are perfectly good, considering the price. I especially loved sitting on the balcony looking out into the garden and the mountains in the distance. It’s an easy walk from the bus station or to the old city. The hostess is very friendly.

The host is very friendly, we had a very nice conversation, she helped me a lot with giving me directions to other places and even gave me several recommendations on what to visit in the neighbourhood. On top of that, she was also very hospitable by offering me some food, which was very tasty. The location is also great, you are surrounded by farms and it is much calmer than in the centre of the city.

The room is cheap and therefore very simple, so a visitor should not have too high expectations. I slept in a small room with the double bed, even with the window open, it was still very warm, so I had to open the door to let some air flow through the room. This made it easier to sleep.

This is a guesthouse for anyone in a very tight budget! It did the job, I had a place to rest my head and I really enjoyed playing the (very out of tune) piano. The host was very kind, although I only saw her once. I also had a lovely balcony and the location is peaceful.

This guesthouse is very very basic and on a farmhouse. There are animals around, a dog constantly barking, and I believe they have bee hives, so unfortunately my room was filled with bees. I also saw a cockroach in there. The bathroom was not clean but at least it was spacious. The main issue was that bolt taxi does not work this far from town, so I had to walk 30 mins into Telavi. This was only an issue at night as didn’t feel comfortable walking alone in the dark.
