Welcome to Landhaus Max! Your temporary home welcomes you to a well-maintained waterfront property in the Moritzdorf district of Sellin. Here, in the heart of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, you can enjoy the most beautiful time of the year—not only surrounded by stunning nature, but also with every conceivable amenity. Beneath the idyllic thatched roof, 135 square meters of living space offer a vacation home that leaves nothing to be desired.
The heart of the house is the large, open living area with comfortable seating, a smart TV, a wood-burning stove, a dining table, a kitchen, and the sun terrace out front. Music lovers will especially appreciate the electric piano, which not only looks very decorative but also comes with a wide selection of sheet music.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a beautiful view of the meadows and reed beds along the Baaber Bek, which connects Lake Sellin to the Bodden landscape of southern Rügen. Just a stone’s throw from the house is Rügen’s shortest ferry crossing, which allows passengers and bicycles to conveniently reach the other shore at Baabe and continue on toward Mönchgut.
The spacious country-style kitchen offers everything you need to cook for the whole family to your heart’s content. The extensive amenities include, among other things, a 4-zone ceramic cooktop with oven and grill function, a large fridge-freezer combo, a dishwasher, a microwave, an espresso capsule machine, a drip coffee maker, as well as a kettle, a toaster, and, of course, all the necessary cookware and tableware.
On the first floor of the house, you’ll also find one of the two spacious shower rooms, the utility room with a washer and dryer, and a little nook for working if you can’t do without your laptop. Wi-Fi is, of course, available free of charge.
A few steps up, beneath romantic sloping ceilings, your two bedrooms await, each featuring cozy double beds (1.80 x 2.00 m), a TV, and spacious closets. The larger of the two bedrooms also features a single bed (90 x 2.00 m) and a sleeper sofa, so the house can accommodate up to 6 people in total.
You’re sure to love the master bathroom with its freestanding whirlpool tub and TV, a walk-in shower, a relaxation lounger, and your very own private sauna. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy yourself. The view of the stunning landscape in front of the house is included for free.

• Due to the thatched roof, barbecuing and open fires are not permitted outdoors.
Landhaus Max can accommodate up to 6 people plus one toddler in an optional travel crib. With prior notice and for a small fee, your well-behaved four-legged friend is also very welcome. Out of consideration for future guests, smoking is not permitted indoors.
