Wana Karsa The Villas Ubud

Loved my stay here. The staff were really nice and welcoming and the villa was perfect 🤩

The staff were so friendly and accommodating! The villa was beautiful and in a prime location, right off the main drag in Ubud. Air con worked well although, it wasn't required as Ubud is cooler than other parts of Bali, being in the mountains. Lying in bed of a morning and looking out to the bamboo with the sun filtering through was stunning and, watching the squirrels dancing through the branches of the frangipani's was so cute! Breakfast was good too. I ate omelette, banana pancakes and nasi goreng (egg not sunny side up but, I did forget to state that when ordering). I came here for privacy, relaxation and to visit a few of my favourite restaurants in the area and was not disappointed!

For some reason I thought the toilet and shower were enclosed (albeit in glass) however, there were huge gaps allowing mozzies to eat you alive when toileting. The boards around the pool were black and unstable in spots (rotten) and should be replaced. Suggestion: Add mozzie net to the bed for peace of mind while sleeping.

It was beautiful & peaceful but located centrally to everything. The staff were lovely.

The amenities in both rooms left a lot to be desired. The bathroom sinks were dirty. The shower had cobwebs in it. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet so you had to watch you didn't slide off 🤣 The TV in the main room didn't work at all & the other had no stations, not even Indo TV. The private pool was beautiful but didn't look clean.
