The Queen Bamboo Ubud

The villa was fantastic, just like in the pictures. It was cleaned daily and fresh towels and bottles of water were provided. Great view, good location. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Communication was easy.

The villa is made of bamboo. Because of this, there are many gaps through which mosquitoes and other insects can get in. Despite using mosquito repellent and a mosquito net, I got bitten a lot. Unfortunately, there was nowhere in the bathroom to hang up towels or store your own toiletries. And the water in the shower didn't get very warm.

We stayed in the smaller villa. The villa is absolutely beautiful! The bamboo construction is very strong. It is a fun experience to stay in such a villa. Also the garden and pool with a view of the rice fields are amazing, I have enjoyed every minute sitting there. The sounds of nature during the night are super calming; I slept very well because of this. Though I’m a bit of a germophobe, this villa was very clean and hygienic which made me feel very comfortable. Also the location of the villa is good, it is not too far from Ubud center and you can easily order a grab to go anywhere. Last but not least, the lady of the villa was so nice and lovely. She was very helpful at any time of the day and prepared our beautiful breakfast everyday. I would really come back to this villa whenever I visit Ubud again in the future!

Just be aware of some of the bugs in the bathroom (which is quite logical as it is an outside bathroom). They are not harmful though

It was exactly like the pictures, clean, nicely arranged. Food was great and the staff super friendly and helpful. Two good restaurants within walking range and the pool was beautiful. Would definitely come back! Thanks
