    I had a nice stay in this Haveli guesthouse. I had a comfortable room with a balcony that looked down on the ghat and the lake and overlooking a temple courtyard. Perfect to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. The place is of walking distance to most sights and lots of food options around at rooftop restaurants with views over the lake. The staff were helpful and polite. My only complaint is the presence of black ants in the toilet bowl every time you use it.

    The service was absolutely pathetic. They charge extra ₹200 for early check in and not at all responsive. Even, whenever we want to get fresh there was no water at all. No matter, the number of times we tell them about the water issue there was no quick resolution regarding water. Please, don't fall for the reviews on Google. They're absolutely fake.

    The hotel was not like a typical luxury hotel, but it had a beautiful old-haveli vibe that I really liked. The aesthetics were quite nice, and the peaceful atmosphere made the stay even better. The staff was very kind, polite, and well-behaved, which was definitely a plus. The room was also spacious and comfortable. There were a few things that could be improved, like the geyser wasn’t working properly, so hot water was an issue, and there was no mirror in the room. Apart from these small things, I had a good experience overall. If you like peaceful places with an old-haveli and aesthetic vibe, this is a nice place to stay.

    We preferred this place for location and after going through the reviews but it is not upto the expectations. There is a smoking joint near the entrance and it is always full. It did not feel safe as two women travelling alone. The staff were also smoking. If you are someone who prefers comfort and safety, you may not want to go here. Plus there is a water issue, you do not get water before 8:00 am. You will have to keep a bucket filled for just in case. You need to call reception again and again to get water. The view is also not that promising as there is a huge tree right in front. The staff is well behaved but the amenities are not good. They need to invest more in the upkeep of the property.
