    Main attractions like jagdish temple, gangaur ghat, bagor ki haveli and the market are literally at walking distances. Nothing is far from this hostel. Bathrooms can be in a better condition and the booking system need an amendment as the room that i had booked was diff and the room i was offered was diff and then they said as all of these rooms fall under same category, it is alloted randomly to us. But another room was available so they changed ours. But this is something to look out for.

    I think the only positive I would say about Shalom Backpackers is that the location is near Gangaur Ghat which is a convenience. That is about where the positives end for this stay. Electrical safety was poor. As soon as I entered the room and plugged in my charger, there was a short circuit and the charger stopped working. I reported it the same day; I was told to email [email protected] for a damages claim. Would update here if I receive any damages claim. Cleanliness was also not up to mark. Dog Poops were all around in the common area when we went there for Check-In. For a property that markets itself as a comfortable backpacker stay, the basics — safe electrical infra, a clean room, better amenities — should not be optional. Would Not recommend!

    The room we had was small and the price was bit high.the does not provided the basic facility's. The room was not clean and properly maintained.
